Inside The Heart of The City Is a 3 hour walking tour of Downtown Toronto. It starts off at your Hotel or your Airbnb where I’ll be guiding you through the Financial District, to The Entertainment District, put on our boots and go through Old Toronto “Muddy” York, will take a photo with the Toronto sign then on to Yonge & Dundas Square. Entertainment / Financial District
The Entertainment and Financial District is where Toronto’s rich history meets its modern, cosmopolitan edge. As we stroll through this vibrant neighborhood, you'll be surrounded by towering skyscrapers that define the city’s iconic skyline. We'll pass by notable landmarks, including fascinating sculptures like TEMBO – Mother of Elephants, and vibrant musical theaters that make this area a cultural hotspot.
You’ll also have the chance to walk along the Canada Walk of Fame, where the country's top stars are honored for their contributions to arts, & culture. As we explore, we’ll dip into The PATH, a massive underground network connecting more than 70 buildings via 30 kilometers (19 miles) of tunnels—perfect for a glimpse into Toronto's unique architectural innovation.
And, of course, no visit to this district is complete without catching a glimpse of the CN Tower from a perfect vantage point. With its mix of culture, history, and modern marvels, this area offers a dynamic and multifaceted view of Toronto.
Old Toronto & The Esplanade
Step back in time as we explore the historic heart of Toronto—Old Toronto and The Esplanade. This charming neighborhood is rich with stories from the city's early days. As we stroll through, we'll encounter the iconic Flatiron Building, a striking example of early 20th-century architecture, and explore Berczy Park, home to the delightful dog fountain featuring 27 playful dogs and a mischievous cat.
Next, we’ll head to the bustling St. Lawrence Market, one of the oldest markets in North America. Here, you’ll have the chance to taste some of Toronto’s signature flavors, including the world-famous peameal bacon sandwich—a true Canadian delicacy.
Our journey also takes us to the Cathedral Church of St. James, one of the city’s most beautiful and historic landmarks. As we continue through this fascinating district, we’ll even catch a glimpse of a Toronto Banksy, a rare piece of urban street art, blending the old with the new in this uniquely historic part of the city.
Queen Street West
Queen Street West is one of Toronto's most stylish neighborhoods, known for its mix of independent boutiques, vintage shops, and diverse art galleries. Whether you're looking for unique fashion pieces, local designer creations, or one-of-a-kind antiques, this area is also a cultural hotspot, where you'll find some of the city's most exciting street art, including the famous Graffiti Alley.
Graffiti Alley, a renowned part of Queen Street West, is a must-see for art lovers and photographers alike. Younge & Dundas Square
Yonge & Dundas Square, it’s the vibrant pulse of the city’s downtown. Known for its high-energy atmosphere, this bustling public space is surrounded by massive digital billboards that light up the skyline, making it a must-see destination for visitors, constantly alive with activity, from street performers to exciting events throughout the year.
Directly across from the iconic Eaton Centre,home to over 230 stores, including the renowned Hudson’s Bay department store. You’ll also find the striking art installation, Flight Stop, by celebrated Canadian artist Michael Snow. This captivating piece features a flock of Canada geese suspended from the ceiling. For a quieter moment, step over to the nearby Church of the Holy Trinity, offering a peaceful contrast to the dynamic energy of the square with its rich history and serene atmosphere.
