Meeting Point

Door-to-door pickup from any hotel, Airbnb, or residence within central Santiago.

- We can pick you up at any hotel/accommodation in the central area of Santiago. Generally, guests stay in the eastern part of the city, which concentrates 90 % of the hotels and Airbnbs, and that is where we will start our city tour.

09:20 PM

Parque Bicentenario: Where Nature Meets the City

Enjoy a relaxing stroll through Parque Bicentenario, Santiago's most elegant urban park, located in the upscale district of Vitacura. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, lagoons, and sculptures, the park offers spectacular views of the Andes Mountains and the Sanhattan skyline on clear days. One of its highlights is the picturesque lagoon, home to graceful koi fish, black-necked swans, and other native birdlife. It's the perfect place to unwind, take memorable photos, and experience one of the city's favorite green spaces.

10:00 AM

Spectacular Cable Car Ride, Historic Funicular & Bellavista's Bohemian Streets

Experience one of Santiago's most iconic attractions as you explore Parque Metropolitano, one of the largest urban parks in Latin America. Your journey begins aboard the scenic Teleférico (Cable Car), gliding above lush hillsides while enjoying spectacular panoramic views of Santiago and the snow-capped Andes.

At the summit of Cerro San Cristóbal, you'll admire breathtaking 360° views of the city and visit the famous 22-meter statue of the Virgin Mary, one of Santiago's best-known landmarks. After time for photos and to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, descend aboard the historic Funicular, a beautifully restored railway that has been carrying visitors down the hill since 1925.

At the base of the hill, we'll explore the colorful and bohemian Barrio Bellavista, Santiago's artistic quarter, famous for its vibrant cafés, street art, galleries, and lively atmosphere. Walking through its charming streets, you'll discover elegant boutique hotels such as The Aubrey and the distinctive Castillo Rojo, both beautifully restored heritage buildings. We'll also stop outside La Chascona, the fascinating home of Nobel Prize-winning poet Pablo Neruda, whose unique architecture reflects his passion for art, the sea, and imagination. This combination of spectacular scenery, history, culture, and local charm makes this one of the highlights of any visit to Santiago.

11:30 AM

Historic Heart of Santiago: Culture, Architecture & Local Flavors

Step into the soul of Santiago on a fascinating walking tour through the city's historic heart, where Chile's rich history, architecture, and traditions come to life. Our journey begins at Plaza de la Constitución, facing the iconic La Moneda Presidential Palace, before continuing through Plaza de la Ciudadanía, a symbol of Chile's democratic history. We'll then stroll along the lively pedestrian streets of Agustinas and Bandera, where elegant historic buildings blend with modern city life.

Along the way, we'll admire the exterior of the renowned Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art, one of Latin America's finest museums, pass the impressive Former National Congress, and view the magnificent Palacio de Justicia, home to Chile's Supreme Court. Our walk continues to the vibrant Plaza de Armas, the city's birthplace since 1541, where we'll visit the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral, one of Chile's most important religious landmarks. The square is always alive with artists, musicians, chess players, and locals, offering a genuine taste of Santiago's daily life.

Before reaching the famous Mercado Central, we'll stop at "Donde Golpea el Monito," one of Santiago's oldest and most beloved traditional meeting points. At the bustling market, renowned for its fresh fish, seafood, and authentic atmosphere, you'll enjoy lunch at the legendary Restaurant El Galeón (not included), the perfect finale to an unforgettable journey through Santiago's history, culture, and local traditions.

02:50 PM

A Relaxing Finish & Return to Your Hotel

After enjoying lunch at the iconic Restaurant El Galeón, your guide will meet you for a comfortable drive back to your hotel or any location within Santiago's central districts. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to make an optional stop at a renowned lapis lazuli workshop, where skilled artisans transform this extraordinary deep-blue gemstone into beautiful handcrafted jewelry and decorative pieces. Chile is one of only two countries in the world where genuine lapis lazuli is found, making it a unique and meaningful souvenir of your visit.

Whether you choose to explore this fascinating workshop or simply relax on the drive back, we'll ensure you return comfortably to your accommodation, bringing an unforgettable day discovering Santiago's history, culture, landscapes, and local traditions to a perfect conclusion.

About Tour Guide Andreas L.

For more than 30 years, I have dedicated my career to creating meaningful travel experiences and building lasting relationships with people from around the world. My journey has taken me from Europe to South America, allowing me to combine international experience with a deep appreciation for different cultures, histories, and traditions.

I studied Travel and Tourism in London, where I began my professional career in project management and international client relations. Those years taught me the importance of professionalism, attention to detail, and delivering service that consistently exceeds expectations.

Later, I established my own tourism and technology consultancy, helping businesses improve their services while continuing to deepen my passion for travel and hospitality. Eventually, I made Chile my home—a country whose extraordinary landscapes, rich history, world-class wines, and warm people continue to inspire me every day.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, I specialize in creating private, tailor-made experiences that go beyond traditional sightseeing. Whether exploring Santiago's vibrant neighborhoods, visiting renowned wineries, crossing the Andes, or discovering hidden gems, I believe every journey should reflect the interests, pace, and expectations of each guest.

My philosophy is simple: true luxury is not about extravagance—it is about authenticity, comfort, knowledge, and genuine hospitality. I take pride in offering a highly personalized experience, sharing not only the places I visit with my guests but also the stories, culture, and traditions that make Chile such a remarkable destination.

Every tour is an opportunity to create unforgettable memories. My goal is for every guest to leave Chile not only with beautiful photographs but with a genuine connection to the country and the confidence that they have experienced it through the eyes of someone who truly loves calling it home
