Santiago Walking; Culture, Food & Urban Life
This experience is not a traditional walking city tour. It is a journey through time designed to help you understand Santiago — and Chile — from its origins to the present day.
Through storytelling, walking, observation, and small local tastings, we will explore how history, geography, migration, earthquakes, and daily life have shaped the city and its people.

Meeting Point
Tobalaba Subway Station
- We begin in the contemporary financial district, observing how Santiago projects itself today — ambitious, vertical, and constantly evolving. This is where we set the tone for understanding the city’s contrasts.
Paseo Bulnes – Civic Axis of Santiago
Our walking tour starts at Paseo Bulnes, a pedestrian avenue designed as part of Santiago’s civic and political axis, aligned directly with the Government Palace. Here we introduce Chile’s republican history and the urban planning concepts behind the capital’s civic center.
La Moneda Presidential Palace
In front of the presidential palace, we pause to reflect on key historical turning points that continue shaping Chilean society today.
Nueva York Street
A small but elegant street that reveals another chapter of Santiago’s past — ambition, prosperity, and European influence in the early 20th century.
Paseo Ahumada
The city in motion. Street performers, vendors, office workers, and everyday life converge in one of the most dynamic pedestrian corridors.
Cristo de Mayo
A symbolic and often overlooked landmark tied to memory, resilience, and faith — elements deeply rooted in Chilean culture.
Plaza de Armas (Local Tasting Stop)
The historic heart of Santiago. Here we pause for a simple but meaningful tasting while observing the multicultural energy that defines the square today.
Barrio Bellas Artes
A transition into a more artistic atmosphere, where museums, culture, and intellectual life intersect.
Lastarria Neighborhood
A vibrant district filled with cafés, wine bars, bookstores, and creative spaces. A perfect place to understand Santiago’s contemporary lifestyle.
Tour Ending – MUT or Lastarria
The experience concludes either in Lastarria for those who wish to continue exploring the historic center, or at MUT (Mercado Urbano Tobalaba), reconnecting with modern Santiago.
Ending Point
Metro Tobalaba

Important message from the supplier
I specialize in tailor-made experiences designed specifically for each traveler. While I do not have fixed schedule restrictions, certain tours — especially outdoor, adventure, or sports-based experiences — require additional preparation time to ensure safety, quality, and a truly meaningful experience. For these types of tours, I kindly request a minimum of 4–5 days’ notice.
I am available to guide experiences any day of the week, throughout the year, depending on weather conditions and the nature of the activity. If your tour takes place outside the Santiago Metropolitan Region or in another region of Chile, I am happy to guide you as well; in these cases, transportation costs for the guide may apply and will always be communicated clearly in advance.
My approach goes beyond simply guiding: I curate each experience with care, local insight, and deep knowledge of the territory. Whether you are looking for nature, gastronomy, culture, wine, or adventure, my goal is to create an authentic, well-paced, and enriching journey that reflects the real Chile — adapted to your interests, travel style, and timing.
Feel free to reach out with your ideas or questions. I’ll be happy to help design an experience that truly fits what you are looking for.
