Explore the beautifully landscaped park and museum honoring Ghana’s first president. Enjoy a guided walk through the exhibits and learn about the nation’s inspiring history.

2. Market Discovery – Colors, Aromas & Connections (10:45 AM – 11:45 AM)

Get a taste of local life! Walk through Accra’s most famous bustling local market then get to discover the colorful fabrics, handmade crafts, where aromas fill the air, alive with sights, sounds and the warm smiles of traders.. Engage with friendly traders and Learn the art of bargaining while you also discover unique handmade goods, learn about spices, taste fresh local tropical fruits, chew roasted groundnuts and observe how daily trade keeps the community connected.

3. Local Lunch Stop–Taste of Local Cuisine / Jamestown Walking Tour (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM)

Enjoy a hearty Ghanaian lunch at a local restaurant — Try jollof rice with grilled chicken or fish, banku with tilapia and pepper sauce or light soup. You can also have a taste of the local beverages like fresh palm wine or sobolo In addition, enjoy a meal just like the locals do. Vegetarian options are also available on request. When we’re all done with Lunch, we will then Wander through one of Accra’s oldest neighborhoods. Discover colonial-era architecture, vibrant street art, and the famous Jamestown Lighthouse. Don’t forget your camera!

4. Arts Centre & Craft Market / National Culture & It Storytelling (2:15 PM – 3:30 PM)

Browse handmade jewelry, drums, kente cloth directly from artisans, and art pieces at the Arts Centre for National Culture which is perfect for souvenirs and supporting local talent, while you meet local artists and pick up unique keepsakes. Join your guide for a storytelling walk through a traditional neighborhood. Hear tales of heritage, community values, and history passed down through generations. Discover murals, old courtyards, and friendly faces along the way.

5. Afternoon Coffee or Coconut & Street Snack Stop (3:45 PM – 4:15 PM)

Take a short break at a popular street café or local snack vendor. Try roasted plantains, kelewele, or local tea while people-watching and soaking in the afternoon rhythm of the city. Refresh with a cool coconut while you chat with your guide about the day’s discoveries and local life.

6. Beach Sunset (4:30 PM – 5:30 PM)

Relax and unwind by the ocean. Feel the breeze, enjoy drumming and dance performances. Simply take a peaceful stroll along the shore or sip a fresh coconut drink while watching the sunset.
