About Tour Guide Agnes K.
My name's Agnes. I'm a tourist guide who works in Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria and I have been on the job since 2015. In West Africa and especially in Ghana, you need to be vast and knowledgeable about your communities and environment to be able to guide and show people around, which is what i love doing.
I graduated from University of Ghana with bachelors in geography and resource development. My passion has always been history, travels/tours and art, not only theoretically but also practically.
My spoken English is excellent as it is the official language in my country Ghana.
In 2017 I worked professionally as guide with “Shai Hills Resource Reserve”.
In my job I love to transfer to my guest for my love of art, the history and the traditions of my country Ghana so that they can really feel it as a true Ghanaian feels it.
I learned the importance of customer service; something that is very essential in the course of this job.
I'm looking forward to meeting you In West Africa and showing you around.

“Interesting and really fun”
This was my first time using GoWithGuide. I didn't know what to expect, but I was like, 'let me give it a try.' I would say this was my best tour of all the tours I have had before. Agnes and the driver were the best people. I was so comfortable being around them because their energy was so good. They made me try all different types of local foods, which I really enjoyed. They took me to all the places that I wanted to see and I learned a lot from them. I would totally recommend her again to friends and family.

“Accra tour with Agnes”
Agnes guided me through cultural sites and gave me a real-life experience of Accra. She introduced me to local foods, took me through markets, and even to the beach. A big thank you also to the driver, Steven, who brought us safely around the city. I highly recommend Agnes!

Cape Coast Tour, Ghana
Akwaaba!!! (Welcome) to Cabo Corso (short cape) is the name the Portuguese settled on for the local settlement within which its trade lodge was built in 1555. Its corruption to ‘Cape Coast’ is now the accepted name of the capital of the Central Region of Ghana. Hendrik Caerloff built the Cape Coast Castle, used to hold enslaved Africans before they were loaded onto ships and sold in the Americas, especially the Caribbean. This "gate of no return" was the last stop .
