Acropolis Metro Station
We will start our tour with the South Slope of the Acropolis. We will visit the Theater of Dionysus and we will learn how the theatrical performances were born. This is a unique opportunity to admire the place were the most important tragedies and comedies of ancient Greece were enacted. We will then continue with the temple of Asclepius, the healing god. Of course we can't miss the Roman Music Hall, the Odeon of Herod Atticus, a spectacular achievement of acoustics.
We will learn about the imposing temple of Athena Nike and the Propylaea, the monumental gate to the Acropolis. We will have the unique opportunity to admire the city's most prestigious temple, the Parthenon and the Erechtheion temple, a masterpiece of ancient Greek architecture.
Our tour will continue with the magnificent new Acropolis Museum, the city's indisputable jewel. In the museum we are going to see some of the masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture, before we head to the highlight of the museum, its third floor, which hosts the Parthenon Gallery.

Guiding services

90 minute ticket costs 1.40 euros. The 24 hour ticket costs 4.5 euros and the 3-Day tourist ticket costs 22 euros.
The cost of entrance to the Acropolis is about 20 euros.
For Acropolis Museum, admission is free for children and young people under 18 from the EU and students. For children and young people from non-EU countries over the age of 5, admission costs €3 (from 1 November to 3 March) or €5 (from 1 April to 31 October).
This is a walking tour and requires a significant amount of physical effort.The tour can be challenging for people with mobility difficulties. Extreme temperatures and heat waves are not very common, but possible to experience. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Do not forget to bring with you a hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water.
