The temple is a major landmark of Nara. It’s famous for the Great statue of Buddha. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
★Higashimuki shopping Arcade
There are a lot of souvenir shops, gourmet restaurants, and trendy cafe.
★Kofukuji temple
It was built in the 7th century. It's famous for the five-story pagoda, a symbol of Nara.
Many national treasures and cultural treasures are exhibited at Temple's museum.
★Sarusawa pond
From Sarusawa pond, you can see the five-storied pagoda of Kofukuji temple and beautiful scenery.
★Nara machi
Nara machi literally means "Nara Town". It is the former merchant district of Nara.
There are several traditional residential buildings ,warehouses, cafes, and few museums.
There are temple gardens, inner gardens as well.

“Temples and shrines of Nara”
Masako, a local guide from Nara, showed me the highlights such as the impressive Todai-ji temple and Nara Park with its deers. Since weather was not nice and thousand of tourists were fighting to see the same sights we decided to change the program a bit and went for a sake tasting and had Udon for lunch. It was a very enjoable and interesting tour.

“Very organized,knowledgeable,well spoken,high energy,acceptable to changes”
My two days with Masako could not have been better. She had everything well planned, offered options to transportation,and made dining reservations as requested.She was able to change activities and schedule on the fly to account for closings and traffic as part of Golden Week. Her communication skills were excellent . She was always on time if not early. She made my first experience in Japan (Osaka) better than expected.I highly recommend her services, for money well spent.
