including Todaiji Temple with its huge Buddha statue, Kofukuji Temple with its five-story pagoda,
the second tallest in Japan, and Kasuga Taisha Shrine with its 3,000 lanterns.
Nara deer Park, where these buildings are located, is also home to many wild deer,
said to be messengers of the gods, which delight travelers.

Hello, I’m Kazuhiko. Please call me “Kazu”. I'm a national-licensed tour guide. I have a wife and 4 children.
I was born in Osaka city near Kyoto, although I have lived in many places across Japan. I used to work for multinational electric company and I traveled to many countries (U.S., Thailand, Hong Kong etc.) on business.
I have enjoyed guiding many foreign tourists in Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Hiroshima, Tokyo, Mt. Fuji etc. for many years.
During your tour, you can discover a rich Japanese history spanning about 2,000 years, learn about and experience profound Japanese arts (tea ceremony, flower arrangement etc.), feel the spiritual atmosphere of Buddhist temples or Shinto shrines, see a breathtakingly beautiful scenery of Mt. Fuji, bamboo forest, Japanese gardens etc..
Moreover, you can taste Japanese cuisine that each season has to offer (Sushi, Tempura, Soba or ramen noodle etc.).

“Kazu was so accommodating and thoughtful of our needs. ”
We have physical limitations and Kazu was so great about tailoring the tour to our needs. He was always checking in on us to make sure we were OK. He was so great about letting us take breaks when we needed. The sushi place he took us to for lunch was amazing worn great prices. Kazu's English was not as great as other tour guides we had. But he was very willing to learn and we enjoyed the conversations we had.

“Well paced and informative tour with Kazu!”
We took a 6-hour tour around key spots in Kyoto with Kazu, and were amazed at how much we were able to see in that amount of time! “Beautiful Tour in Kyoto with Kazuhiko!”
So much to see in one day in Kyoto - we had a great time with Kazuhiko. He is very knowledgeable! We appreciate he was able to meet us at our hotel in Osaka to bring us to Kyoto. It was a long day but well worth it! We loved the Sushi restaurant he brought us too as well. Highly recommend Kazuhiko!
