Țigănești monastery
The monastery is one of the largest nuns convention. The monastery in the midst of the waters is a place that gives peace of mind, joy of heart and spiritual fulfillment.
Snagov Monastery and Dracula Tomb
In the middle of a large lake, on a hidden island, stands Snagov Monastery dated 14th century, which local tradition states is the burial place of Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. This legendary place is full of old local stories, whose truth is far from being easily discovered.

Mogosoaia Palace
A charming settlement by the lake, Mogoșoaia Palace was built between 1698–1702 by Constantin Brâncoveanu in what is called the Romanian Renaissance style or Brâncovenesc style. Nowadays is a popular tourist destination, with beautiful grounds and gardens and an inside Romanian art museum.
