My journey to becoming a tour guide is rooted in a lifelong passion for culture, creativity, and connection. I’ve always been drawn to the richness of human expression—through travel, music, art, and fashion—and how these elements reveal the true spirit of a place. Over time, I realized that what moved me most wasn’t just seeing new places, but feeling them: understanding their rhythm, their stories, and their soul. New York City has long held a special place in my heart. Its energy, diversity, and layered history constantly inspire me. Becoming a tour guide felt like a natural step—a way to share that inspiration with others. For me, guiding is not just about pointing out sights. It’s about offering an experience that awakens curiosity, fosters understanding, and helps people connect with a place on a deeper level. This work allows me to combine everything I love—storytelling, cultural exchange, personal connection—and turn each tour into a moment of discovery for both the traveler and myself.

I have been providing NYC tours for 14 years and LOVE it. I love introducing the city to new tourists and giving return tourists new experiences. Clients should come away from a tour having learned a few facts, having eaten good food, having had some laughter and... experienced the "Wow!" factor. That is an experience/story that blows them away. As a professional guide and performing artist, actor and educator, I can provide this experience. So join me as I show you hightlights of what the Big Apple is most famous for and for a personal journey in seeing how NYC connects to you in ways you would not have imagined!

My name is Dom G. and I'm a native Brooklynite who has been conducting "Made in Brooklyn" themed tours since 2011 after a career working for high tech hardware manufacturers. Inspired by the makers I discover on my travels, I seek out who's makin' it right here in Brooklyn. My tours feature creative people and local businesses, honor the innovators of Brooklyn's Industrial Revolution and highlight what makes Brooklyn so great. I personally design all my tours and am a bonafide licensed NYC Sightseeing Guide.

I am a New York City tour guide and have been doing bus tours for 14 years and walking tours for eight. I can easily do a standard tour on, say, Central Park, Greenwich Village, or the World Trade Center but I offer a general tour with many popular places in New York. I also have my own niche tour of "Titanic Sites in New York City". I like tour-guiding in the city because I am also a tourist and I like to feel the vicarious thrill of visitors. Being a tour-guide AND a tourist, I have traveled to Nova Scotia, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Anchorage, Cleveland, Niagara Falls, Washington DC, London, Liverpool, Belfast, Bangkok, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Nara, Shizuoka, Hiroshima, Miyajima Island, Mt. Kosaya, Mt. Fuji and many other places.

I fell in love with New York the moment I set foot here. It's been over 30 years now. I love this city so much that I became an NYC tour guide. I enjoy showing people different faces of NYC - from the bustling city of skyscrapers to the quiet streets of out-of-the-tourists-way neighborhoods. I love telling stories of people who made New York what is it - the self-made millionaires, famous writers, daring architects, beautiful and powerful women. I can show you major landmarks as well as secret spots and cozy old bars where you can feel NYC history. I can take you to places where sounds of jazz rule the night and people swing-dance - a dance which was born in Harlem, NY, and had swept the world with its infectious joy. I'm a licensed sightseeing guide with many years of experience. I'm truly fascinated with the unique history of New York City and love to share my passion for it. I've studied History of Art at Harvard Extension School (Cambridge, Mass) and New School (NYC) and took classes on NYC Architectural History at Cooper Union (NYC).

Hello! Welcome to my page and hopefully soon, New York! I am a born and bred NY Native, having grown up in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. The city, its people, food, neighborhoods, rich diverse history, cutting edge innovation, storied nightlife and world-renowned cultural treasures were my playground and classroom; and I am so grateful to have had this teacher. After University, I lived for three years in London and Paris - and then returned to my home town where I have been enjoying my work in Tourism and Hospitality ever since. I’ve been a professional guide for many years working for companies like Tui, Globus and Disney. I have lead groups, both large and small, that include students, adults, business professionals, and retirees from the U.S. and abroad. I love taking guests around my beautiful city, and re-discovering its majesty and wonder with visitors - this is truly a privilege. I excel at private tours and in sharing the magical experiences that can only be found in this dynamic and daunting city. Together, we will unlock it's secrets and discover why NYC, the star of so many memorable movies and novels, is such a beloved, romantic and exciting city. What do I do in my spare time? I write, act, garden and hike. I teach kids financial literacy in an after school enrichment program. I walk my wonderful dog in Brooklyn Bridge Park and I take advantage of the world-class museums and restaurants this great city has to offer. If you wish, I would be happy to work together and plan your perfect itinerary with a customized experience - or you may choose from one or more of my predesignated tour options. Born and educated in Austria, I worked in fashion in Paris, London and New York. After leaving the fashion and advertising industry in New York, I made a career change to the tourism industry, which I have been involved with for the last 20 years. I’ve travelled with visitors throughout the United States, giving tours in major cities. In New York City — my hometown - I work as a local Tour Guide. I love the city because of its vibrancy, pulse and culture. Therefore, I want you to enjoy it through the eyes of a New Yorker. I welcome small groups for New York City walking tours - on foot, by taxi cab or bus - as per your preference. I provide an intimate picture of what New York City is all about by covering certain highlights such as Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, Central Park, Lincoln Center and Times Square. But I‘m always open to the wishes of the client. My aim is to enlarge knowledge and have a great time!

Hello there! I am Jonathan and I'm so excited to share my New York City with you! I have family roots in New York City stretching back over a hundred years, mirroring the classic immigrant experience from Ellis Island to the Lower East Side. This background has inspired an ongoing quest for the best of the city past and present, from the suspension cables of the Brooklyn Bridge to the hot pastrami at Katz’s deli. I moved from the depths of Jersey to Manhattan’s Morningside Heights at 18 for college and have since split his time between Tel Aviv and New York City. I studied American History at Columbia University under Kenneth Jackson, one of the all time great historians of New York City. After college I worked in finance before heading back to school in Israel to study for an MA in Archeology from Bar Ilan University. I currently guide tours in both New York and Israel, depending on the season. I love exploring the city’s history, from the footprints of George Washington to Malcolm X, and discovering hidden gems from the best pizza slice to the coolest dive bar. New York City is an endless playground of culture, history, and energy where every day seems to yield a new adventure.
