About Tour Guide Erika B.
Born and educated in Austria, I worked in fashion in Paris, London and New York. After leaving the fashion and advertising industry in New York, I made a career change to the tourism industry, which I have been involved with for the last 20 years.
I’ve travelled with visitors throughout the United States, giving tours in major cities. In New York City — my hometown - I work as a local Tour Guide. I love the city because of its vibrancy, pulse and culture. Therefore, I want you to enjoy it through the eyes of a New Yorker.
I welcome small groups for New York City walking tours - on foot, by taxi cab or bus - as per your preference. I provide an intimate picture of what New York City is all about by covering certain highlights such as Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, Central Park, Lincoln Center and Times Square. But I‘m always open to the wishes of the client. My aim is to enlarge knowledge and have a great time!
Important
My rate is $500.00 per tour/minimum 4 hours. Each additional hour: $100/maximum 6 hours per day. My walking tours are exclusively Midtown Manhattan and parts of uptown. The meeting will be located in front of Rockefeller plaza 49th street in front of FAO Schwartz . 9:30 am will be the time set to meet. As long as the weather permits there should be no reason to reschedule the tour. For future booking I will only be able to accommodate 3 tours a week maximum.
