I'm Pedro. I've been a tour guide in Porto and Douro since 2015, crafting city tours and wine tours! I consider myself a "Wine nerd". I love weird statistics about wine and have attended Portuguese wine tasting courses. My goal is to have a sommelier certification by the end of 2024. I have a strong link to the region and like to be on top of all details and latest news of the wine community! I'm a father of two, I enjoy meeting people and have lots of stories to tell!

My name is Ricardo and I was born and raised in Porto City. Although tourism changed Porto for the best (in my opinion) for the last 5 years, me and my family had to move out from Porto, into the bush, housing and living costs became very high and we made the choice that we should move out to the countryside. In this last year 2020 and even this year 2021 with pandemic work just fell down drastically and we had to adapt. Making Port Wine, Muscat wine and sometimes olive oil in a amatuer way since 2014, this hobbie become my family income. With vineyards and olives fields almost abandoned from the pandemic I rolled up my sleeves and went to work, asking neighbours and friends if I could keep their grapes and olives for harvest time, their answers were immediately YES Dividing my life between Porto and Douro Valley, me and my family feel completely safe, happy and relaxed with this new way of living your life.
