At the Peace Memorial Park, I help guests understand why Hiroshima was selected as the target of the world’s first atomic bombing, what happened to the city and its people, and how Hiroshima rebuilt itself as a city dedicated to peace. On Miyajima Island, I can introduce you to the famous Itsukushima Shrine and the Great Torii Gate, which appears to float on the sea at high tide. I also enjoy taking guests to Daisho in Temple, a beautiful and peaceful temple at the foot of Mt. Misen. It is one of my favorite places on the island.
