Hello! My name is Akiko from Gifu prefecture. I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter. I like going out with my family, talking with my friends over coffee at a cozy cafe, reading books, baking bread and cake when I have time. I passed the national tour guide test in 2017 and have worked as a guide since then. I have guided in Gifu city, Seki city, Takayama city, Shirakawago , Mino city and Nagoya city. I have lived in Gifu for more than forty years. Gifu prefecture is rich in nature so you can enjoy the rural atmosphere. Gifu city has a beautiful river 'Nagara river' and Mt.Kinka which has Gifu castle on the top. You can go up the mountain on foot or use a ropeway. The view from Gifu castle is so fantastic. At the foot of the mountain , there are many places to visit such as parks, a temple having a big image of Buddha, and a street preserving the historic atmosphere. At Nagara River, you can enjoy seeing a traditional way of fishing ‘cormorant fishing’ which is thought to have started 1300 years ago. Many cafes have unique service called 'morning service' in Gifu along with Aichi In the morning (until about ten thirty or eleven) when you order a cup of tea or coffee, they serve toast and salad ! Near Gifu park , you can find a nice Japanese style cafe where you enjoy good coffee and seeing a Japanese style garden. Seki city is a small city but so famous for its cutlery. At Japanese sword museum in Seki, you can see authentic Japanese swords! Mino city next to Seki city is well known for its hand made Japanese paper 'Hon minoshi' designated as intangible cultural asset by UNESCO . Until recently it was not easy to guide guests because of COVID-19 pandemic; however the situation is getting better. Some strict rules about COVID-19 have been lifted. Please visit Gifu. I am looking forward to seeing you. Please feel free to ask me when you need information about Gifu. Thank you for reading my introduction.

Hello! I'm Nao. I was born and raised in Himeji, which is famous for the Himeji Castle (egret castle). I'm guiding in Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and Hyogo (especially Kobe and Himeji). I'd been in the US for three years attending a university. During the stay I went to the Yellow Stone twice, and visited California. I took a summer French class for a month in Canada, so I speak French a little. I love travelling. I went to many places in Japan. I visited Hokkaido, Okinawa, Hiroshima, Kanazawa, Nikko, Mt. Fuji and so on. I love music ― pops, rock, gospel and classical music. I'm a fan of Beethoven. Some day I'd like to go to Vienna and visit his houses and the forest, where he composed "the Pastoral Symphony". There are lots of attractions in Japan. You can visit shrines, temples, deer park etc. You can enjoy USJ, river cruise, anime museum, Japanese sake, Onsen and of course delicious Japanese dishes. Let's have fun together !

Szia! Hi! Hallo! Ceau! My name is Tiberiu(s), or Tibi for short, and I am an IT Service Manager who found his passion in tour guiding over 5 years ago. With late-afternoon and weekend availability (full time as of June), I am more than excited to take you on a mini-journey, including not only the main attractions of the city, but also the lesser-known ones including some tastings. I am also more than happy to adapt the tours to your needs and we may even go outside of the city, if you'd like to, since I own a car. I am also available for one or the other daytrip in or outside of Budapest, just let me know about 1-2 weeks in advance, so I can plan my schedule accordingly. Before booking though, please contact me online in advance, just to make sure. "In the end... we only regret the chances we didn't take" (Lewis Caroll) I want to make memories for people from all over the world! And most important of all, I like to give them an actual taste of our city. You just can't visit Hungary and not try some of our traditional foods (not for veggies or vegans though). Hope to meet you soon and "Viszlát", as we say in Hungarian!

I sold my business 15 years ago and my wife and I decided to relocate to Charleston, SC. We had visited several times and were immediately struck with the beauty and charm of the wonderful city. But just as important we were so impressed with the friendliness of the people here. After serving on several community and charity boards I decided to become a licensed city guide and passed the rather rigorous exam. I then designed my tours to give people a comprehensive knowledge of the history of the city as well as what it’s like living here today. My walking tour is of the Charlestonwne neighborhood, located at the very southern tip of the peninsula. It includes 8 of the 10 largest homes on Charleston, the original walled city, White Point Gardens, rainbow row, the high battery and several wonderful old churches and museum homes. I love meeting new people and telling them the story of this great city and I’m the preferred guide for many of Charleston’s finest hotels. Hope to have an opportunity to give you a great tour here in Charleston.

Jacob L.
My name is Jacob, and I've been exploring Colorado since 2007, when I moved here for my first engineering job. Right away, I began hiking the beautiful Rocky Mountain peaks, then climbing the cliffs, and learning to camp in the backcountry, but what I loved the most was exploring on my bicycle. I loved it so much that I eventually quit my job to simply ride my bike as far as I could go. Three years later, I returned to Colorado having pedaled 38,000 miles and circled the earth twice. My route traced from Portugal to China, Alaska to Argentina, then across New Zealand, Australia, and Africa. While I was out there, I learned to exist in nature, to be confident in handling any situation, and to always find beauty in my surroundings. This is the experience I bring to my tours. I pride myself in finding the most scenic places to visit, that both highlights the natural beauty of Colorado, as well as captures the local charm of the people who live here.

Vanessa R.
Hola and welcome to Madrid and its surroundings! My name is Vanessa and I'm looking forward to showing you this beautiful and unique city and making sure that you enjoy every second of your visit. But not only the city of Madrid; there are a number of other cities, within a distance of 60-70 minutes by car, like Toledo, Segovia, El Escorial, Ávila, … that fully complement the modern Madrid with the history of Spain in more than two thousand years: romans, muslins, jews and christians. I’m a proud madrileña with Swiss Heritage from my father. He came to Madrid in the sixties and fell in love with it. I have also lived in other European countries like Switzerland, Germany and France. Although I have travelled a lot, my favourite city has always been Madrid and its secret squares, sunny terraces, centenary shops, taverns and great city life. Come with me and discover the history and legends of Madrid, its Muslim origins, the charming streets and neighbourhoods, three of the best art museums in the world, the unique shops, the best tapas and especially the Spanish way of life. We can also have a look over the roofs of Madrid from special viewpoints and taste the authentic gastronomy and wines in town. In the cities around Madrid you will see a different place. Much smaller, more quiet and with an amazing and still touchable history. Cities that ruled the region and Spain thousand years ago, when Madrid did not even exist. PS: If what you want to see is not included in my list (like the Thyssen Museum, Retiro Park, Aranjuez, Lavapies), please send me an email and I will arrange a special tour for you. Bienvenidos! Licensed Tour Guide in Spain and Spanish National Trust Sites ( Royal Palace, El Escorial, Toledo, Segovia, Avila ) with almost 10 years Guiding experience. Expert in History & History of Art

I’m a Brazilian-Spanish storyteller who has called Madrid home for over 20 years and I’m still captivated by its streets, flavors, and hidden corners. My tours are not just walks, but immersive experiences where history, art, food, and everyday life come together. The goal is simple: not just to show you Madrid, but to help you feel it. I draw inspiration from Goya at the Prado and Picasso at Reina Sofía, from flamenco rhythms to Almodóvar films, and from the simple joy of sharing tapas and vermouth in traditional taverns. I believe the best way to understand Madrid is through its culture and its people. That’s why every tour is built around storytelling, emotion, and connection. If you’re looking to discover a more authentic, human, and unforgettable Madrid, I’d love to share it with you.

Beyene A.
Hello dear travelers. This is Beyene. But please call me by my nick name, 'Bayu'. I was born and raised in Gondar, a historical city in north western part of Ethiopia known for medieval history and culture, but now working and living in Addis Ababa since the last 16 years. I joined the hospitality business when I was in my home town as a local guide taking tourists around the city and to the breathtaking Simen mountains national park. Then this coincidence of meeting many tourists from different countries, eventually grew up and motivated me for further education which I finally came to Addis Ababa to attend tourism college. Here I studied and got diploma in tour guiding techniques and travel operation. With this the Federal Government of Ethiopian Tourism Commission has certified me as a national tour guide to escort travelers all over the country. In addition, the Amhara reginal state tourism office has also licensed me as a local guide. This time, I am a member of Ethiopian professional tourist guides Association based in Addis Ababa. For me travelling is just more than a business and is simply a source of excitement by meeting new people and make them happy through social and intercultural exchanges. Ethiopia's long history, divers culture, ancient tradition and beliefs, stunning geography, archeology, unique nature and the society's way of life are the main factors that attracts tourists all year round. This condition always makes me to go off the beaten-truck and discover places which are beyond the routine destinations. In line of this, I'm became very much keen on travelling and familiar with almost all destinations in the country, which is from the historic route in the north to the cultural destination to Omo valley tribes in the south; from the adventurous Danakil depression and Eta'ale to trekking in the Simen and Bale mountains National parks; from coffee tours in the Ethiopian rift valley system to the bird watching activities across the country. Above all, Addis Ababa is my favorite city where I got a better knowledge about Ethiopian tourism in general. lt is a vibrant city where diversified ethnic groups all over the nation are living together in peace and harmony. In addition to being the capital of Ethiopia and Africa the whole, it also served as a commerical and political hub of the country hosing local and international organizations. Such as:- AU/African Union, EU/European Union, ECA/Economic Commissioned for Africa including embassies and consulates of different countries in the world. Because of that Addis Abeba became one of the best tourist stops in the country where a short and long term travelers are coming for their holidays. The city encompasses many things to be seen either in a half or full day city tours including day trips to a nearby places. To mention but few are:- the national Museum where the 3.2 million years old Lucy is located, mount Entoto where the old grass thatched roof palace of king Menellik ll is still standing, Trinity Cathedral from which the remains of emperor Hailesilassie and his families are rested, Markato the busiest and largest open air market in Africa, St. George church erected up to recall the victory of Adewa over Italy in 1886. Plus historical monuments and squares; coffee houses and traditional restaurants; amusement parks and night life clubs are the few spots on which travelers shall have a life time experience. Therefore, when ever you have a chance to visit Addis Ababa/Ethiopia or a short transit at Bole intl airport, please contact me anytime to join my tour and let we together uncover the hidden wonders! I look forward to welcome and spend a wonderful time with you. See you soon! Tour guide and travel organizer in Ethiopia

Located in the beautiful surrounds of Dublin, we celebrate the origin stories of Irish dishes, drinks and spirits through storytelling which allows us to make the experience even richer for our guests! By celebrating these stories, we not only highlight the history of Irish food but also give visitors a deeper appreciation of the tradition and craftsmanship behind each dish and drink. It’s like connecting the past with the present, especially as you explore Ireland’s emerging food scene. Did you know that Ireland is undergoing a food revolution and a whiskey renaissance? The focus on emerging food trends is also exciting because it shows how Ireland is evolving while still staying true to its culinary roots. It’s great to see how modern Irish chefs and distillers are shaping the future of Irish cuisine and drink, all while staying connected to the country’s cultural heritage. Taste Ireland - it’s about connecting with the heart of Irish food and drink in a way that goes beyond just tasting. By diving into the produce and meeting the locals, you're gaining a deeper understanding of not just what’s on your plate or in your glass, but the stories, traditions, and people behind it all. And of course, "having the craic" is an essential part of any Irish experience! The combination of great food, good company, lively conversation and storytelling is what makes the whole experience so memorable. It's all about immersion—not just in the food, but in the culture, the fun, the spirit and the heart of the place.
