Hi, I’m glad you found my page! I’m a local guide based in Kyushu who loves sharing the region’s history, food, and landscapes in a relaxed and friendly way. Think of me as someone who can make your trip comfortable and memorable, while keeping things easygoing and fun. I began guiding to share the history, scenery, and food of my home with visitors from around the world. Before this, I worked in luxury retail, where I learned how important details and genuine hospitality are. Now I bring that same spirit to my tours, making sure every guest feels comfortable, cared for, and free to enjoy their journey. I specialize in private car tours around Kyushu, so you don’t have to worry about train schedules or carrying luggage. We can stop where you like, take things at your own pace, and enjoy the scenery along the way. Onboard you’ll have free Wi-Fi, music, and a comfortable ride—perfect for families, couples, or friends who want both convenience and a touch of luxury. Some of my favorite places to share are: Nagasaki: Peace Park, Atomic Bomb Museum, and the city’s cultural blend Fukuoka: Dazaifu Shrine, city highlights, and Yanagawa’s river cruise with eel dishes Kumamoto: Mt. Aso’s volcanic views, Kumamoto Castle, and Kurokawa Onsen Oita: Hita’s riverside town, plus Beppu and Yufuin hot springs Saga: Arita’s ceramics and the Yoshinogari ancient site Takachiho Gorge: A mystical canyon tied to Japanese legends What I enjoy most is helping guests discover both famous sights and hidden corners of Kyushu, while keeping the experience comfortable and stress-free. Whether you’re drawn to culture, food, history, or beautiful scenery, I can adjust the plan to match your style. I’d love to share my part of Japan with you and create memories that last long after your trip. If you have any questions or requests, please feel free to send me a message. I look forward to welcoming you to Kyushu and showing you what makes this region so special!

Hello, I’m Atsushi. I grew up in Osaka, a city famous for its warm people, delicious food, and lively culture. Until last month, I worked for five years as a softwear engineer. Now, I’ve shifted to what I truly enjoy—working closely with people. Alongside private tutoring and mental health counseling, I am excited to guide travelers through my home region. “Make your once-in-a-lifetime trip to Japan even more unforgettable.” That’s my mission as your guide. With me, you can explore historic landmarks, or dive into the city’s soul through food—whether it’s a casual street-food crawl or hidden local favorites. Since I grew up here, I can take you beyond the usual tourist spots to restaurants and shops that locals actually return to again and again. I’d like to introduce a place that will make you want to come back. On hot summer days, I’ll show you comfortable underground passages and indoor attractions. When the weather is just right, we can enjoy the city outdoors to the fullest. Guests often say my tours feel like being guided by a friend who knows the city inside out—fun, relaxed, and authentic. I want you to experience Osaka not only as a visitor, but as someone who feels at home here. And one more thing: 10% of my earnings are donated to organizations that support single-parent families (Save the Children). Let’s make your Japan journey something truly special together!

Hi, I am Shuji, a licensed tour guide living near Kansai International Airport. I taught world history in high schools for four decades. So, I can explain Japanese culture or history in an easier way tailored to you who have different cultural and historical backgrounds. I also practiced Kendo, Japanese fencing, for more than four decades, and now I enjoy growing vegetables and going fishing. Therefore, I can also share some Japanese culture and its nature. I have traveled to more than 25 countries and all over Japan. I’m also passionate about photography and know many photogenic places in Japan. If you prefer to go off the beaten track, I can take you to hidden gems, including some cozy restaurants. Of course, I also know how to enjoy the crowded, most popular tourist sites. Hi! Welcome to Japan. My name is Shoji Kitamura, a licensed English-speaking tour guide. Please call me Shoji that is the same sound as a sliding screen made of wood and paper you may have seen in a traditional Japanese room. I was born and raised in Yokohama next to Tokyo but lived for work in several beautiful and historical cities such as Nikko, Hiroshima, and Ise which have world heritage sites and/or national park. I fully enjoyed the nature, culture and lives in each city where I lived. I retired after 36 years with a national research institute of fisheries in 2016. During my career, I visited 5 continents except Antarctica, more than 20 nations for attending international scientific conferences, conducting collaborative research or teaching some technologies, etc. In Japan, I often took foreign scientists and government officers sightseeing. I had great times in these opportunities. Such experiences made me decide to become a licensed English-speaking guide interpreter after retirement to introduce Japanese nature, culture, foods, etc. properly to many tourists coming to Japan from all over the world. For more than 20 years I’ve been living in Nikko, which is located about 150km north of Tokyo, and designated as a World Heritage site and a National Park. If you consider a day trip from Tokyo, I strongly recommend coming to Nikko by 2-hour train ride from Tokyo. I am looking forward to showing you around in this historical and beautiful town. Besides Nikko, I can also guide you in Yokohama, my home town, and in neighboring city such as Tokyo and Kamakura.

And the fascination and excitement of exploring and learning new things about Japan still exists with me today. The variety and choices of things to do and places to go can be overwhelming. Hello there! I am hoping you're having a great day!! My name is Jose, born and raised in Spain (Barcelona) and I have been living in Japan for the last 10 years, first it was Hiroshima that I called home, for the past few years it has been Kyoto. I have a wide knowledge of japanese culture, it's social life and it's manners, as well as the most impressive monuments, streets, parks and temples. I love the city of Kyoto and all of the wonders it has to offer to the people whom decide to visit it, from the Fushimi Inari temple to the Nijo Castle. It is a surprising city with combines the best of modern day activities with the reminiscence of old Japan. I would like to share my experience in Japan with you, so you have the greatest experience possible.

Please refer to the map I uploaded on gallery to check the sites you are interested in. Also my blogs will help your understanding both areas - "The location difference of Mt.Fuji (Fuji Five Lakes) and Hakone". Hi everyone! Hearty welcome to Japan. I’m Tomoko. I am an English-speaking licensed tour guide, and a registered nurse as well. “Fun Discovering Experience Walking like a Local!” – F-D-E-W-L! That’s what I suggest. 【Experiences】 My work history is as follows. 1) high school teacher ---12 years 2) nurse--8 years + 2 years as operational manager for Kamakura city vaccination team (during COVID period) 3) tourism related jobs such as tour conducting, guiding, and backyard supporting---10 years As a tour conductor, I’ve visited about 20 foreign countries (possibly yours?) as well as countless number of towns and villages in Japan. I’ve enjoyed these jobs while being a mother. Through these experiences with lots of people from different backgrounds, I've found it a great pleasure to share the joy of learning and experiencing something new! 【Guiding Areas】 <Basic> Tokyo, Kamakura, Hakone, Fuji, Yokohama, Nikko, and other neighboring areas from Tokyo I’m a specialist in Tokyo and Kamakura as I have lived and enjoyed walking a lot in those cities for decades. To be honest, even after all my years here, I still enjoy exploring like a tourist as Tokyo is such an enormous city with great diversity and is constantly changing. Kamakura is a historical small city with nice beaches and hills and lots of hidden spots of beauty. Almost every time I go out, I feel I’m still making new discoveries. That’s why I cannot stop exploring. I would take you to some neighboring areas like Hakone, Yokohama, Nikko, and Mt. Fuji area (Lake Kawaguchiko), etc. <Based on Requests > *if my transportation & accommodation are covered Nagoya, Kyoto, Nagano(Nagano city, Snow Monkey park, Kisoji trail, etc.), Hida (Takayama, Shirakawa-go), Kanazawa, Oita, Yamagata, Akita, etc. My original family is from Nagoya, so I know their culture and even their language(dialect) well. Later in my life, I have lived in Oita, Kyushu(far south west of Tokyo) for nearly 10 years and traveled a lot in Kyushu. I love traveling Tohoku, the northern Japan area, too. I’ve planned and enjoyed visiting many of those local areas in the north, too. So, I could share those experiences with you even while having tours in Tokyo or online. 【Personality and others】 - I love meeting people, listening and talking to them. - I'm friendly and caring, I hope:) - I love nature and enjoy hiking and skiing. - I love seasonal flowers and good local food. - You will see a lot about Japanese culture, nature, and lifestyle with me. What has made you decide to come to Japan, by the way? Is it its scenic beauties, exotic culture, history, food, anime, or what else? Is it your business that has brought (or will bring) you here? Let me have a clue and customize your tour. I will make the best tour suggestion for you. Why don’t you contact me now? I’m looking forward to seeing you soon! Thank you! Arigato-gozaimas!

Zögern Sie also nicht, mir Ihre Wünsche mitzuteilen! Und noch etwas: Entschuldigen Sie, wenn ich manchmal ein wenig Schwäbisch spreche – den Grund erfahren Sie während meiner Tour! -------------------------------------------------------------- I was born and raised in Japan and later moved to Germany. From 1998 to 2021, I lived in Germany. For me, Germany is like a second home, full of wonderful memories. As an experienced simultaneous interpreter for German/Japanese (for 16 years) and English/Japanese (for 5 years) , I am constantly moving between cultures. That’s why I’m even more excited to introduce you to my home country—in your language! The great thing about a private guided tour is that it can be tailored to your preferences. I’ve been a licensed English-Japanese tour guide since 2004! I know Shenzhen well—I’ll tell you stories about the "dragon’s sons" on ancient roofs and take you to try high-tech fun like flying cars, drones, humanoid robots, and self-driving taxis, super exciting! I’m great at shopping too. I know exactly where to go for the best deals: cheap gadgets as gifts, real-looking knockoffs at China’s top high-end clothing market, and 2-carat lab-grown diamonds for just 2000+RMB. You might even find a business chance you didn’t expect. Need to visit factories? I can help—show you around, assist with negotiations, or find factories if you don’t have one. After the order is set, I’ll follow up on the progress and help arrange shipping. I’ve ordered clothes, jewelries, frames, lens from factories myself, so I’m super experienced and reliable! I’m flexible, down-to-earth and easy to get along with. I’ll make a customized itinerary fast, no generic cookie-cutter tours—just breathtaking spots tailored just for your taste. Traveling with me is anything but boring, and you won’t need cold translator apps at all. I’ll share your joys and listen to you vent if things go wrong. Your Shenzhen trip will be totally worth it!
