Hello! I'm Maica, an enthusiast Barcelonian and in love with my city. Years ago, after completing my Hispanic University Studies, I moved to Scotland where I did a Msc in Applied Linguistics and worked as a tour guide for Spanish and Italian tourists. Seven years later I came back home. At first I taught Spanish to foreigners with my own methodology: using the street as a clasroom with lots of story telling techniques. It was doing so how I became a licensed tour guide, my passion. Now it's my full time job. I love it. It's extremely rewarding and it keeps me always busy exploring, reading and learning.
As a licensed tour guide I have PREMIUM access, very convinient since when on holidays time is precious: we'll skip the lines in all monuments and museums!!
Since you are the boss, I will design the best visit just for you. MY TOURS ARE TAILORED MADE depending on your time and interests, but to gain a feeling of local life, I'll make sure you won't miss some off the beaten-track sites . I'll be very happy to recommend, my main concern is to make you live unforgettable experiences.
I'm very much used to dealing with all kinds of people and my explanations are very dynamic, instructive and a pleasure to the ears. I am very flexible and my tours are adapted either to shore excursions or private tours. I love to tour couples, friends, single visitors and, as a mother of a teenager, families as well.
It will be a honor to accompany you while discovering all these treasures with which you will fall in love!
Hope to meet you soon!
Maica

After a law degree in Italy and Austria, I worked as a journalist for nearly 20 years, first in Italy and from 1995 to 2014 in Paris. I started guiding in 2014 and followed a new education for my national French guiding license. With my wife Kristina, an architect and historian of art, we created a guiding agency in Paris in which by now work a dozen highly qualified and licensed guides. All of us are driven by love for art, passion for history and eagerness of showing the French beauty to our guests. We provide private and group city tours as well as visits in the main Parisian museums as for instance Louvre and Musée d'Orsay. We manage also excursions to the Palace of Versailles, to the mansion of Monet, to Normandy and so on. During the academic year, I still give lessons for journalism in the Parisian university HEIP.

Konnichiwa! Hello! Hola! Nihao! Namaste! Anyoung Haseyo! Bonjour and Kuzu Zangpo La!
My name is Yui, a Tokyo/Yokohama-based certified tour guide. Having been born and raised in the outskirts of Yokohama, I would call both the harbor city and the capital of Japan my neighborhood. What I love most about these areas is how each place has developed as a modern city while embracing its history and traditions. Being a globe-trotter myself (you can make a guess at places I have been), I enjoy every encounter with new culture/scenery/people and it would be my absolute pleasure if I could help you to experience the same and make the most of your stay in Japan! Do not hesitate to shoot me a message, any inquiry is welcome!
Things I enjoy: art (paintings), spontaneous walk, sake, noodles, cute animals (furry, feathered and scaly!)

I have been in Tokyo(downtown side) since I was born.
For three years I have traveled in 57 countries and worked in Bolivia for a year.
When I traveled in Maya's ruin, I was really impressed that my guide told me not only the information about the ruin but also how to live in Guatemala, how to earn and the political problem etc...
A guide is a diplomatic entrance to the country, I think.
From this experience, I would like to give you what I have to every customer.
Having been worked as an elementary school teacher in Japan, though I know the educational issue as a strong point, now I work as a tour-conductor traveling around
Tokyo area.
I used to hike around the world, of course in Japan. Northern Japan Alpes, Southern Japan Alpes, Yatsugatake mountain range and Mt.Fuji. The highest one for me is Mount Cotopaxi in Ecuador with 5892m. Another strong point is that I can hike with you.
Let us make unforgettable and precious moment during the tour!

Welcome to Japan!!!
My name is Takashi(Tak) and I am a BLEISURE guide(Business + Leisure) who can support you both business interpretation and your pleasure time. And I am licensed tour English guide in Japan.
I love to travel. I've visited 80 countries for last 15 years. it is very exciting to know about different cultures, foods, life style in each country. I am addicted for it.
One of my favorite city to stay is Tokyo. I am able to guide you both for the traditional part and the modern part in Tokyo. For the traditional part, I like Asakusa, Tsukiji fish market and Yanaka area to walk around. For the modern part, I like Harajuku and Akihabara because it is very original in Japan and you can find very specific culture only this area in the world.
<1. For business traveler>
Furthermore, I also welcome a guest who visits Japan for business purpose. You may have limited private time. You may make a stop only for 24 hours in Tokyo for transit of your flights. Within the limited time, you can enjoy Tokyo highlights in the evening & night with the professional local guide.
In case you would have a business meeting with Japanese company, you may need to find a business interpreter for the meeting because many Japanese still can not speak in English frequently. I would offer you Bleisure tour(Business + Leisure) which you can combine business and leisure together in one day. You do not need to find a business interpreter separately.
Regarding my business experience, I had worked for one of the biggest Japanese investment and trading company for 12 years. I have a lot of business experience build bridges between Japanese companies and foreign companies especially in USA, Europe and the Middle East. In 2012, I went Dubai to work as marketing and sales manager. I had worked there for about 4 years and I've done a lot of business negotiation. To be frank, Japanese business culture is unique compared to global standard. And
if you are not used to doing business with Japanese companies, I believe you need a help.
<2. For family traveler with kids>
In the home, I am a father of 3 kids. My kids ages are 5 years old, 3 years old and 9 months old. I know how to arrange an itinerary with little kids. I welcome a guest with little kids. I can make the original and special tour for your family which kids can also enjoy. And if you have a baby stroller, it is very tricky to find out where an elevator is located at each subway and train station. With the professional local guide, you do not need to be troubled about this kind of issues.
Thank you very much for reading my introduction.
I hope to see you soon in Japan!

I was born and grew up in Wakayama prefecture. Since I was very young, I walked and run by motorcycle and car in the mountain region of Kii peninsula (Wakayama). I learned the nature of Wakayama well it’s tenderness and danger. I wish to make the only one trip for my customers.
There are many natural and historical sites in Wakayama because of its unique geographical nature and the longest history in Japan. You can enjoy various type of trip as ancient road walk, spectacular landscapes of the coastlines, suspension bridges, mountains and hot springs.

Traditional shrines and temples, cafes, book stores, music, knick-knack stores, pastries... There are many things I love and you will love in Kyoto.
I would like to offer tours to popular tourist attractions but I would like to take our guests other places we locals go and show more deep inside if this mysterious closed city of Kyoto. We know more shrines and temples which are worth visiting and nice cafes and shops. As I like craft, art, music, book, cafes, etc,,, I can introduce those cultural aspects for guests also.

Kaz (和夫)
Hi, everyone. I am Kaz. I live in Ehime, which is opposite from Hiroshima across the Seto Inland Sea.
There is no Shinkansen bullet train here, but there are many things to see. You will have a relaxed, peaceful time, feeling as if time were passing slowly. And you will find lots of beautiful things. For example, there has been a tradition in people's behavior that they will show their hospitalityby serving tea or cakes to walking pilgrims. There have been many who want to visit the temples belonging to the Shikoku 88 Sacred Places, as a pilgrim.
There is also abundance of natural beauty. You can see high mountains extending to the far distance and rivers running through the area. It goes without saying that there is a lot of delicious food.
I am looking forward to seeing you. Please come visit Japan, and discover hidden treasure. Thank you.
