It was never about history alone! Every single tour of mine focuses on healing, sensing and even smelling the real Egypt in a profound way that can never be forgotten. Live the local atmosphere rather than staying within the limits of touristic bubble. Environment-friendly, ethic-based tours that focus on culture, nature alongside history. Go back in time millions of years and feel the ambiguity of the whale valley, once was an ancient ocean. See the first pyramid ever built in the history, wander like an ancient citizen in the ambiguous tunnels of the Serapium. Feel the thriller of every molecule of sand and air of Ancient Egypt. A considerable part of my tours goes to stray animals of Egypt. I'm a specialized guide. I've studied Egyptology (not only history but also archaeology, religion, art, literature, hieroglyphic translation, mythology of ancient Egypt), for so many years and still studying new theories, references, updates in a non-stop journey of acquiring knowledge. All my tours are customizable. You can customize any tour to suit your own needs (adding or removing places, including or excluding tickets if you prefer to pay on your own, choosing pickup time...etc). Looking forward to meeting you and spend great time together :)

My name is Shusaku. I was born and raised in Osaka, where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the beautiful landscapes and rich culture of the region. During my travels to 10 different countries, I came to realize the importance of listening to the locals to truly understand the culture and charm of a place. This experience taught me that local knowledge and experiences are invaluable in building a deeper understanding and connection while traveling. In my tours, I make it a point to not only showcase the popular tourist destinations but also to share insights into the everyday lives of locals and the culture of the region. By incorporating stories and knowledge from locals, I aim to provide a more enriching travel experience. My mission in life is to foster a deeper understanding of the world through travel and to build connections with people from different backgrounds. I look forward to creating unforgettable memories and sharing new discoveries with all of you!

Welcome to Nagoya! I’m Tommie, a nationally certified guide based in central Japan. Having lived in six different countries since childhood, I have a passion for cultural exchange and connecting with people from all walks of life. After spending 14 years abroad, I now enjoy sharing the hidden charms of my lovely hometown, Nagoya, with international travelers like you! With experience guiding small groups and couples, I focus on creating warm, flexible, and meaningful tours. Whether you’re into history, local food, cars, modern city life, or traditional crafts, I can tailor the tour to match your interests. If you’ve already visited Tokyo or Kyoto, you’ll find Nagoya refreshingly less crowded and more relaxed. Here, you can enjoy authentic experiences with a local touch. Known not only as the home of TOYOTA, Nagoya also has strong roots in Samurai culture and offers a unique blend of tradition and innovation. Meantime, you can enjoy unique local specialities, such as Miso-Katsu( Pork cutlet with Miso), Hitsumabushi(grilled eel)etc., and also enjoy hands-on cultural experiences like Shiori dyeing or traditional fan-making. There’s so much to explore here. I’d love to be part of your memorable journey. Let’s enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime adventure together!

Thank you for visiting my page. I will guide you to the 3 ancient capitals of Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto, which housed the Imperial Palace for 1200 years, starting in the 7th century. I grew up in Osaka, studied urban and transportation planning in Kyoto, and worked for national and local governments as an urban planning expert for 20 years. My goal was to create cities where citizens can live safely and comfortably, and which captivate tourists to stimulate the local economy. I developed urban policies and construction projects. During this time, I visited and researched unique cities in Japan and abroad (90 cities in 30 countries), exchanging ideas with local experts on preserving historic assets. I use my extensive urban development experience and knowledge of cities in Japan and abroad to uncover the hidden charms of the 3 ancient capitals and share them with international tourists, working as a guide. In the 3 ancient capitals, the Imperial Palace was relocated 15 times, and each time a new capital was built, with court nobles and monks accompanying His Majesty the Emperor. Knowing the history of these cities' development, we will come to appreciate that the townscape before us is the result of the strong will of many people. The 3 cities are within an hour's train ride of each other, and the transportation network is well-developed. I will create a Customized Tour that will remain in your photos and memories forever, within the limits of your time and energy. I look forward to hearing from you.

My tours were born from my passion for traveling and studying other cultures, from my avid late-night reading, and from meeting amazing, bright, and talented people from around the world. And, of course, it sprouted from my love for storytelling :). Now, there are 10 of us - guides in the Netherlands, Belgium, Serbia, Hungary, and Morocco. We are historians, designers, physicists, journalists, sociologists, and art historians. I am thrilled to share my knowledge and show you these fabulous and hidden places from a tourist's perspective. My team would be delighted to accompany you on this adventure full of unexpected discoveries as we travel through the centuries and immerse ourselves in the local culture!
