My name is Shusaku. I was born and raised in Osaka, where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the beautiful landscapes and rich culture of the region.
During my travels to 10 different countries, I came to realize the importance of listening to the locals to truly understand the culture and charm of a place. This experience taught me that local knowledge and experiences are invaluable in building a deeper understanding and connection while traveling.
In my tours, I make it a point to not only showcase the popular tourist destinations but also to share insights into the everyday lives of locals and the culture of the region. By incorporating stories and knowledge from locals, I aim to provide a more enriching travel experience.
My mission in life is to foster a deeper understanding of the world through travel and to build connections with people from different backgrounds. I look forward to creating unforgettable memories and sharing new discoveries with all of you!

“Totally awesome ”
Shusaku is warm, funny, engaging, authentic, and knows so much about Japan. Going on a tour with him is like hanging out with a cool friend who's super psyched to show you around his city. A bucket list trip for our family, made even more special. Thank you, we hope our paths cross again.

“Great night you wouldn’t get without Shusaku!”
Shusaku gave us a tour of the Shinjuku area, showing us the sights and guiding us through the bustling nightlife. We stopped at several small Izakayas for food and drinks whilst we had fun conversations about where we’re from, and about Shinjuku. We had a really fun night and got us into some really small and iconic bars which let us to meet some new people and enjoy some more drinks. Shusaku was great all-round, really friendly guy who gave us lots of time to look around and went out of his way to book us a table for some food in case it was busy, and he also makes for a great photographer and knows some good photo spots!

“Shusaku is fantastic!”
Shusaku is fantastic! One of the best guides ever and such a likable person. He’s the nicest, friendliest, very knowledgeable, and so pleasant to be with. His positive energy is contagious and he was so engaging. You immediately feel at home with him. He had our older teenagers laughing and involved - they thought he was “so good and very cool”. He showed up with a big, happy smile, and was open, flexible and so gracious throughout the day. He showed us so many great sites and had background information on each site. The Tokyo train system can be overwhelming but he showed us how to get tickets, understand the system - enough that my 17 year old who speaks no Japanese had it all figured out by end of day. It was particularly hot and humid out but he made sure we were hydrated, making all of us comfortable. I use a walking cane and the whole time he was kind, always aware of steps and helpful, never made me feel rushed - I felt completely at ease. We lucked out with Shusaku and had the best day! He even captured fun family photos throughout the day. Best tour guide ever and a solid guy - highly recommend!
