A little about me: I come from a creative profession of Baking, was originally from Palestine and I’ve always enjoyed exploring both the well-known highlights and the hidden gems of my surroundings. When I’m not hosting, you’ll often find me your hobbies – Baking. What makes me different as a host is the personal touch. I love tailoring recommendations to your interests—whether it’s where to find the best local dishes, secret viewpoints off the tourist trail, or unique cultural experiences most visitors miss. I believe it’s those insider tips that turn a trip from “good” into “unforgettable.” For me, hosting isn’t just about offering a place or a tour—it’s about sharing a piece of my world with you. Hi, my name is Jens and I am born and raised in Iceland. I am educated in Political Science and a certified guide since 2007 so I have worked as a guide for almost 20 years. I became interested in guiding when I was working summer jobs as tour bus driver, driving around my beautiful country. My interests are history, geology, politics and culinary arts and I have been known to cook for my guest on multi-day tours. I guide in English, Danish and Norwegian. Hope to see you soon.

I've been guiding family and friends in Mexico for over 30 years, arranging tours, van rentals, accomodation, excursions, archaeological visits, museums, etc., Now I completed my official general guide course in order to be certified by the government to guide national & international guests. I love my country, its culture, history, etc. and know a lot of interesting facts besides the normal guidance for tourists. In my downtime, you’ll find me hiking, exploring in my 4x4, visiting museums (I’m a bit of a history buff), or just soaking in life here in Reykjavik, my home for the past six years.
