“Best Guide EVER!!!”
My girlfriend and I recently went on a trip to Mexico City for our anniversary, and one of the most suggested activities we were recommended was a trip to Teotihuacan. We decided it would be best to do a private tour so we weren’t just cattle on a bus like many of the groups we saw. After some research, I came across Rafael’s information and decided to book with him. BEST. DECISION. EVER. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable and passionate about history, he was the kindest and most engaging tour guide I’ve ever had. Our tour always a few hours long, and he showed us things that most people seem to skip when visiting the “Sacred Mountains.” Our tour was several hours long, was incredibly safe, beautifully thorough, and at the end we had a delicious and authentic meal that wrapped it all up. I wish we could have had him as a guide for every one of the wonderful things we did while in Mexico. 10/10 stars from me and my girlfriend (honestly it’s more like 20/10 stars) Rafael is the best. If you are doing a trip, I hope you are fortunate enough to experience it with Rafael. Look no further than him. Our visit to Teotihuacan was the best part of the whole trip and that is in no small part to Rafael. Not only did my girlfriend make unforgettable memories on this vacation, but I truly believe that I made a friend for life. THANK YOU AGAIN RAFAEL!

Dear Richard; I can not thank you and Georgia enough for your so very kind words in the review. I'm speechless... I can only say that absolutely you've got a friend in Mexico that is here for you whenever you may come back. And definetly when we go to New Orleans (and we will) we'll be in touch with you to share experiences there. Thanks so much again... I'm really touched by your message... Take good care my friend!

“A fabulous guide!”
We recently spent three and a half unforgettable days touring Mexico City with Rafael, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the very beginning, it was clear that Rafael is not your average tour guide — his incredible depth of knowledge in history, art, archaeology, and culture brought every site to life. Rafael is naturally curious, intellectual, and personable, making every conversation insightful and engaging. He crafted a fabulous, well-balanced itinerary, filled with variety, so that each day offered something new — from the world-class museums and ancient ruins to churches, political landmarks, and hidden gems that most tourists would never find. We shared several meals together at spots that truly captured the culture, music, and culinary heart of Mexico City, adding so much richness to the experience. By the end of the trip, what began as a tour guide-client relationship had evolved into newfound friendship, exploring this amazing city together. If you're intellectually curious and truly want to immerse yourself in the history, culture, and vibrant life of Mexico City, Rafael is the guide you want by your side. He is simply fantastic.

“Go with Raphael”
Rafael is a personable, knowledgable and perceptive guide. He has a broad knowledge of Mexican and global cultures. He is creative and receptive to his clients interests, priorities and stamina. We laughed a lot and traded many stories. He is an excellent communicator and our visits to Centro Historico and Teotihaucan were enriched by his guidance. He is generous with his time. We highly recommend his guidance.

I am a young historian who has been working as a tour guide for 4 years. During this time I have met people from all over the world, which has taught me a lot about interacting with all kinds of people as well as showing my city in an authentic and interesting way. I like to take people to places that show another side of Mexico City, a closer perspective of how its inhabitants live day to day. I also enjoy taking photographs on my tours.
