Pentagonal tower (outside)
As the name the tower is pentagonal and was used as the main entrance to the courtyard of the castle. Lets learn defense system in the medieval time.
Open Jail
The castle was used for prison too. We will enter the open jail and try to feel prisoners" life.

Capel
The chapel is the one of the oldest building in the castle. Inside of chapel is absolutely gorgeous.
Penitentiary
Penitentiary is the one of the original building in the castle. From the 18th century whole castle started to use as prison. Lets learn its system.

The castle ticket is NOT including.
The castle ticket, which is including entrance of viewing tower and all museums and facilities and funicular railway (2way ticket).
The guide will help you to buy the ticket at the funicular railway station. \The price list is below.
The price of ticket
Adults - 13 euro (10euro without funicular railway)
Children (7-18years old) - 9 euro (7euro without funicular railway)
Family ticket (up to 2 adults and minimum 1 child:7–18 years) - 31 euro (24euro without funicular railway)
- If you need other ticket options or question, please contact me. You can attend this guide without ticket, but cannot enter the viewing tower and other facilities.

I can guide you Ljubljana and Grosuplje region without my transportation fee. If you wish me to guide area other than Ljubljana and Grosuplje, you will be responsible for the travel cost of guide.

Hello! I am Yuki. I have been working as a tourist guide in Slovenia since 2017. I am a Japanese. I came to Slovenia for studying modern history of ex-Yugoslavia. Being or working as a tour guide is truly unexpected event, because I thought I would go back to Japan after studying. While I was a student, I had many opportunities to travel all Slovenia and ex-Yugoslavian countries both in private and study. Every experience is special and impressive. Then I got opportunity to guide tourists. I enjoyed that very much. I was very happy that I could share my experience as a local and professional knowledge with my guests, so I became a tour guide.
Now I have a national guide license of Slovenia, so officially I can guide all Slovenia, but my specialty is LJUBLJANA and GROSUPLJE. As Ljubljana, I have a local guide license, Ljubljana castle guide license, and Slovenian ethnographic museum guide license. As Grosuplje I have a local guide license to guide huge municipality.
