Day 1- Pickup at Colombo Airport
Day 1
Meet and Greet , We will pickup you at the Colombo Airport and drive to Dambulla
Day 2-Dambulla and Sigiriya - UNESCO World Heritage site
We explore the The Sigiriya world heritage site declared by UNESCO in 1982, Sigiriya is a unique combination of 5th. Century unban planning, Architecture, Engineering, hydraulics, Land scaping and gardening, Painting and poetry all combination in one site Mainly the rock is 180 meters height city complex history ran to 1500 years from now, We will visit Royal garden, water garden, Boulder garden, world famous Sigiriya frescoes, Mirror Wall, Lion terrace, ruined Palace complex of the summit of the rock with ponds and you can see the amazing surrounding nature and its beauty. After descending the rock we can do a village tour and experience with followed by authentic Sri Lankan traditional cuisine prepared in village women and may village experiences.
Day 3 - Dambulla Golden Cave temple and Lead to Anuradhapura
We will visit Ibankatuwa Megalithic burial Site, provide evidence of our ancestors death rituals conducted in 3000 years ago, There are many artefacts exhibiting in this site prove the proud history of Sri Lankan civilization. Dambulla Golden Rock Cave temple is declared bt UNESCO world heritage site in 1991 and it is one of the most impressive Buddhist Temple in the world with its great number of buddha statues and more than 2000 square meters of most important painting can be found in Sri Lanka, History of this temple goes back to 1 st. century , means 1900 years back, but most statues and paintings has done in 17th. and 18 th. centuries while some paintings belongs to 5tj. centaury mean 1500 years old paintings can be seen, there are five caves Devaraja Lena , Maharaja Lena, Maha Aluth Vihara, Pacchima Vihara and Devana Aluth Vihara. In the evening we drive to Anuradhapura ancient city
Day 4 -Anuradhapura Ancient city - UNESCO World Heritage site
Anuradhapura was the Principal city and kingdom nearly 1500 years old and It was home to 126 Kings of the Island. There have been found archaeological remain of Mahavihara or Great monastry Complex and many monastic units and This city was based on Tank civilization new additions to the world history of Irrigation systems. In Anuradhapura ancient kingdom we will visit second most venerated sacred Sri Maha Bodhi ( Ficus Religiosa) and it is oldest recorded tree in Asia. and found common features of Buddhist monastery Stupas, Image houses, living quarters of monks, chapter houses , Refectories, hospital sites, Drinking wells and Ponds, and monastic Educational canters we can see and observe the remains of the archaeological marvels and culture in ancient Kingdoms
Day 5 - Polonnaruwa Ancient City - UNESCO World Heritage site
Polonnaruwa was the second capital city and kingdom nearly 900 years old There have been found archaeological remain of the citadel and mainly King Parakramabahu palace, Wata- da - ge or circular relic chamber, Council Chamber, King Nissanka Malla Audience Hall, and Gal Vihara Complex, Stone book Thuparama Image house and Polonnaruwa museum
Safari Tour
We will explore one of the largest wild elephant gathering in Sri Lanka at The National park
Day 6 leave for Kandy - Last kingdom of Sri Lanka - UNESCO World Heritage site
On the way we will visit spice garden where you can study and observe Sri Lankan spices and Ayurvedic Medicianal herbal plants and benefits of them
We will visit Temple of the sacred Tooth of Relics - Sri Dalada maligawa and evening kandy city walking tour and view point of Kandy
Day 7 - Leave for Ella via Nuwara Eliya -
We will visit Royal botanical Garden at Pradeniya, Tea estates and Tea factory - sight seen of little England - stop at Ella
Day 8 - Leave to Katharagama - Yala
Morning we will visit Nine Arch Bridge, Rawana waterfall and Little Adams Peak and evening leave to Kataragama
Day 9 - Yala Safari day and lead to Mirissa or Weligama
Yala is the highest density of Leopards ( Pantera Padus Kotiya ) and many wild life such as Fox, Deers, Elephants, Crocodile, wild buffalos, eagle and birds Pelicans,
noon we go to mirissa or Weligama - you can enjoy at beach
Day 10 - Whale Watching Tour and Lead to Galle - UNESCO World Heritage site
Morning we will voyage for Whale watching Tour in Miriisa - Then we will leave for Galle Old city Tour
Day 11 - Galle City Tour
We will explore Unawatuna jungle beach, Japnese peace pagoda ', Stilt fishing and Koggala evening at beach rest
Day 12 - Hikkaduwa Day excursion
Morning we will go to Natuaral Silk factory, turtle Hatchery , cinnamon garden, Blue Sapphire mining and evening rest at Hikkaduwa while seen live turtle
Day 13 - Beach rest at Unawatuna / Galle
Village tour local Temple visit , local food cooking experience and Tasting and Beach Rest evening for shopping
Day 14 - End of the trip
Getting ready and packing baggage leave Colombo international Airport for departure
