* Remove shoes before entering mosques when permitted to visit.

* During Ramadan, avoid eating, drinking, or smoking publicly during daylight hours.

* Respect wildlife and marine ecosystems; taking shells or damaging coral is discouraged or prohibited.

* Use licensed tourism operators and follow local regulations.
