My name is Girdhar, and I am an English-speaking tour guide with over 12 years of experience in India’s tourism industry. I hold a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in History, Public Administration, and Sociology from the University of Rajasthan, which has provided me with a strong foundation in India’s history, culture, and heritage.

I started my career after earning my State Level Tour Guide License in 2012, followed by the North India Regional Tour Guide License in 2016. Since 2014, I have worked as a freelance tour guide and tour escort, leading tours across destinations including Jaipur, Agra, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Pushkar, Bikaner, Mandawa, Khajuraho, Orchha, and Varanasi. I have worked with reputed travel companies and guided guests from diverse countries and cultures.

My responsibilities have included managing complete guest experiences, delivering engaging historical and cultural interpretations, ensuring guest safety and comfort, coordinating logistics, and handling unexpected situations with professionalism. These experiences have strengthened my communication, leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

I am passionate about Rajasthan’s royal heritage, Indian history, photography, cultural exchange, and sustainable tourism. I believe great guiding is about more than sharing facts—it’s about creating meaningful, memorable experiences through storytelling and genuine hospitality. I enjoy adapting each tour to match the interests of my guests, whether they are history lovers, families, photographers, or first-time visitors.
