I was born & grew up in the city of Akko (also known as Acre), Israel, to an Arab Christian family of Palestinian descent, in a very mixed neighborhood (Jews, Christians, Muslims). Akko is known as the "symbol of coexistence" in Israel. Today, I am a licensed tour guide, an archaeologist (B.A. in Archaeology & Geography) & a facilitator at a social-academic program for Palestinian, Israeli & Jordanian youth. I have been a tour guide for about seven years now, my main fields of specialty include: history, archaeology, culture, religions, architecture, art, everyday life, tourism, conservation & more!
I guide in the northern parts of Israel, mainly in my city (Akko is a UNESCO World Heritage city), where I introduce my tourists to my own home city, showing them the ins & outs of the city and its uniqueness, covering a wide array of topics as we go, and even introducing them to different locals & entrepreneurs!
Working hours - 10:00am until 7:00pm
I also guide in different parts of the Galilee (like Nazareth & Sea of Galilee) and the Golan Heights - transportation fees apply. Contact me for details!
