This tour gives an insight into the business, leisure and artistic lifestyles of Manhattan.
We meet at Rockefeller Plaza by the world famous toy store F.A.O. Schwarz. From there, we move on to St. Patrick’s Cathedral and up Fifth Avenue to see its famous stores, including Tiffany’s. Next, we see The Plaza Hotel and then enjoy a walk through Central Park.
On Manhattan’s West Side, we see the renowned Dakota Building, Lincoln Center, Broadway and Times Square - ending in the Theatre District.

All tours are weather permitting.
Important message from the supplier
My rate is $500.00 per tour/minimum 4 hours. Each additional hour: $100/maximum 6 hours per day. My walking tours are exclusively Midtown Manhattan and parts of uptown. The meeting will be located in front of Rockefeller plaza 49th street in front of FAO Schwartz . 9:30 am will be the time set to meet. As long as the weather permits there should be no reason to reschedule the tour. For future booking I will only be able to accommodate 3 tours a week maximum.

Born and educated in Austria, I worked in fashion in Paris, London and New York. After leaving the fashion and advertising industry in New York, I made a career change to the tourism industry, which I have been involved with for the last 20 years.
I’ve travelled with visitors throughout the United States, giving tours in major cities. In New York City — my hometown - I work as a local Tour Guide. I love the city because of its vibrancy, pulse and culture. Therefore, I want you to enjoy it through the eyes of a New Yorker.
I welcome small groups for New York City walking tours - on foot, by taxi cab or bus - as per your preference. I provide an intimate picture of what New York City is all about by covering certain highlights such as Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, Central Park, Lincoln Center and Times Square. But I‘m always open to the wishes of the client. My aim is to enlarge knowledge and have a great time!

My tour will be the best-of-the-best of the old-and-the-new on the West Side of Manhattan with lots of photo ops included. I include sites that are very new in places that are very old. We will relive the history of the construction of the great piers and the ships they brought to America. I can also be flexible and, where possible, add a destination - provided it does not require waiting in a long queue.
