About Tour Guide Janet C.

I have been working as a cycling and walking tour guide in the Burren in County Clare for more than 20 years. My tours are immersive experiences, where we explore everything the location has to offer: history, archaeology, geology, folklore, flora and fauna. I am fully certified in First Aid, and have public liability insurance to cover cycling and walking tours. I am also a golfer, and a member of Lahinch Golf Club, so can advise on the best courses to play while you are in Ireland.

I can guide on other days by request subject to availability.

Any ebike tours are available from 1 April until 31 October due to weather and short days.

Heritage Studies and an accredited Failte Ireland tour guide working in the West of Ireland and along the Wild Atlantic Way. I offer tours to the Galway City, Connemara and the Wild Atlantic Way and the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren UNESCO Geo Park. I also offer self guided and guided bicycle tours of Galway City and Connemara National Park. My personal interests are in archaeology, anthropology, natural history, folklore and folklife. My tours have a mixture of these topics as they cut to the core of Gaelic Culture. I have studied the medieval period in Ireland extensively as this informs much of the built architecture in Galway City and the West of Ireland.
