Welcome to Shikoku! I am Hiroko Sato, an English and Chinese speaking guide living on Shikoku. For those who are living in big cities, all the rural areas look the same with mountains, rivers, and elderly people. you might have acquired the stereotype that Japan is a homogeneous country, which is not true. In each region, we have different dialects, manners and customs which you make a new discovery every time you visit.

Here in Shikoku, you can do a lot of things-Enjoying the traditional puppet theater, watching famous Awa Dance, doing indigo dyeing. Or are you interested in the walking tour to visit some of the 88 temples on Shikoku Pilgrimage route ? You are mostly welcome. Let's make a wonderful tour together!
