Christ Church

Christ Church is an American Episcopal Church and an important location for the founding individuals during the American Revolution. The church hosted members of the Continental Congress, as well as President George Washington, Benjamin and Deborah Franklin, Betsy Ross, John Penn, as well as signers of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.


Christ Church is also an important site in Philadelphia's slave trade and abolition of slavery.

The Benjamin Franklin Museum celebrates the life and legacy of Benjamin Franklin - an inventor, writer, scientist, statesman, diplomat, publisher and political philosopher

First Bank of the United States

After the American Revolutionary War, the First Bank of the United States issued bank notes, the first form of currency in the US. the setting for the inaugurations of President George Washington and President Adams.

Independence Hall

Independence Hall is the setting where our founding fathers debated the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution. Our founding fathers signed both documents at Independence Hall

Liberty Bell

The Liberty Bell has a timeless message "Proclaim Liberty Throughout All The Land Unto All Inhabitants Thereof"


The Liberty Bell also served as a symbol of hope for the aboloists, women's suffragists and civil rights activists.
