Meeting Point

St. Petersburg Pier

- Meet me in the parking lot behind the St. Pete History Museum along the waterfront.

The Mansions of Snell Island

We'll take a 30 minute drive through Snell Island and get some history of this 1920s enclave of the rich and see their magnificent homes that dot Tampa Bay.

Beach Drive

Beach Drive is the road that is adjacent to the blocks long City Park system that runs along Tampa Bay and starts with the historic Vinoy Hotel to the Salvador Dali Museum. Beach Drive has high end shopping and restaurants and just beautiful vistas. We'll stop at Demens Landing for a perfect city-scape of downtown.

The Williams and Snell Mansion and the University of South Florida (USF)

Learn about John Williams who co-founded St. Petersburg, along with Pietr Demens and Perry Snell who was St Pete's first big residential developer.

Central Avenue

We'll then drive up the 30 block long Central Avenue and learn about all the local neighborhoods. No mall stores are allowed in downtown so each block has it's own funky vibe and feel. It is very much an enclave for younger generations that enjoy coffee shops, bookstores, boutiques and galleries.

St. Pete Beach

Optional drive to St. Petersburg Beach - Gulf Blvd - to see the hotels and maybe a short hop to Pass-a-Grills, a residential neighborhood at the tip of Pinellas County.

Stop and Stroll?

Optional for guests - want to be dropped off at one of our five world class museums? Would you rather be dropped off to stroll through the boutiques and galleries on Central Avenue? It's all up to you!

Back at the Pier.

This tour is crafted mainly as a driving tour with stop off points for photo ops along the way. For those who'd rather walk more, drop off points can be made along the way for later pickups or Uber rides back to the Pier.
