Join me for an unforgettable cycling journey through California’s most picturesque wine region, the Central Coast. This stunning tour covers Solvang, Los Olivos, Los Alamos, and the Santa Ynez Valley. We will start in the quaint town of Solvang and then head through rural communities out to Los Olivos for first wine tasting stop. From there, we head towards Foxen Canyon to enjoy our second winery stop and lunch. Next we head to Los Alamos for our final wine tasting before returning to Solvang.

Meeting Point

Solvang Park

- We will first start out in Solvang Park. Right in the middle of everything Solvang. We will have a meet and greet with a review of the route and any safety issues you need to know. Plus, ask any questions you have.

Roll out from Solvang to Los Olivos

The tour begins in charming downtown Solvang, known for its unique Danish-inspired village atmosphere, and quickly rolls out into rolling vineyard country. From there, we ride into the heart of wine country, passing through the welcoming town of Los Olivos, where oak-studded landscapes and boutique tasting rooms set the tone for the day.

Los Olivos Wine Tasting

We then make our first stop in Los Olivos for our first wine tasting stop. We will have a guided tour trough some the local wines available.

Roll out to ride through Foxen Canyon

We continue along the scenic backroads of Foxen Canyon, a legendary route framed by sweeping vineyard views and quiet rural beauty.

Lunch Stop in Foxen Canyon

Along the way, we pause to enjoy thoughtfully selected winery stops for guided wine tastings, giving you a chance to experience the flavors that make this region world-renowned. To keep you energized and relaxed throughout the day, the tour also includes curated snacks and a delicious lunch featuring local ingredients.

On to Los Alamos

Before making our way to the historic town of Los Alamos—a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern wine-country culture. The ride then carries us through the dramatic terrain of Drum Canyon, where winding roads, open skies, and breathtaking vistas showcase the raw natural beauty of the region.

Return to Solvang

After our adventure through Santa Ynez Valley. we turn back towards Solvang. We will return to our meeting place in Solvang Park.

-This tour can last from 45 miles to 60 miles of hilly cycling terrain. You must be comfortable riding long distances.

-This tour is designed for people who have a multi geared bicycle looking to tour the Santa Ynez Valley for the day.

-If you do not have your own multi-geared bicycle, I can find you rentals.

-This tour is for participants who are at least 21 years old.
