Starting at the Vienna State Opera we will talk about Vienna's position in the world of music and will then proceed to tastier places like pastry and cake shops.
Albertina Museum
We will dive into the history of the former Austrian Imperial Family, starting at the former residence called Albertina, now one of the most important art museums.
Burggarten
The former private garden of the Imperial family is the entrance to the Imperial Palace complex where we will walk through several courtyards to see the most relevant wings of the palace.
Heroes' Square
Let's talk about Austrian heroes and how they changed the course of history.
Michaelerplatz, Kohlmarkt, Graben
Anyone for luxury shopping? What is now the priciest shopping area of Vienna, is also a place connected to several hundred years of history.

As I am highly allergic to all kinds of animals, I cannot offer tours that involve horses (no carriage rides, no stable visits)

I was born and raised in Vienna, however traveling, foreign countries and foreign languages have always been my passion. Therefore I studied languages, became a teacher for several years and finally made traveling my main occupation. After traveling in Europe for several years, I became a licensed tourist guide in Austria. I wanted to meet people from other countries in my hometown and show them its glorious past, wonderful pastry shops and tell them quirky details about members of the Imperial family. Vienna has a very obvious, beautiful side along the Ringstrasse, but also more hidden back streets, small alleys, courtyards and lots of less well-known stories. Vienna was once the capital city of a huge empire, nowadays it is the capital city of a small country. The glorious past is still visible, but there is also modern day Vienna that offers a good quality of life and many green spaces, especially in the old town. A large number of places worth seeing can be reached during a walking tour. Palaces, passion, art, music. . you name it and we will experience it together.
