Have you ever tried "ice-cream cone"-hopping?
Usually, people go bar-hopping in Japan but not for me.
I have a sweet tooth, so instead of going bar-hopping, I enjoyed ice-cream cone-hopping!
First, I went to Shimafumi bakery cafe in Mano to enjoy ice-cream cone made from locally produced Goshima milk.
It's not so sweet and very rich in flavor.
Next comes the ice-cream cone with gold dust!
You can enjoy this special ice-cream cone at the outside stall of Sado Gold and Silver Mine Museum in Aikawa.
Employees sampled several ice-creams and chose this one and sprinkled gold dust on top.
It has another rich taste (because of gold dust) and good for your health...maybe?
Third and the last... ice-cream with locally produced tangerine jam at Ogiya souvenir shop in Ogi.
At first, I thought it's a piece of cake for me to have three ice-creams in a day but... two is enough??
Anyway, I did it and all were so good!
We have several more ice-creams with diffrent flavors using local products.
Please come and enjoy these delicious ice-creams in Sado to escape from the scorching summer heat in big cities!
