We have much rain in this season here in Tokyo. In this season, we can enjoy beautiful flowers – Hydrangea.
In many gardens, temples, shrines and even in the garden of ordinary houses we enjoy viewing beautiful Hydrangea with many colors such as blue, purple, and pale pink.
The following photo is which I took in Rikugien Garden in Tokyo a few weeks ago.
At the teahouse in Rikugien garden, I enjoyed having Japanese confectionery called wagashi, served with maccha or powdered green tea. In general wagashi is made from healthy ingredients without any oil. It’s tasty and marvelously beautiful. Each wagashi represents the beauty of nature.
The upper one of the photo represents a fresh green leaf and the lower one represents a hydrangea. I was impressed and enjoyed the confectionery with my eyes and palate.
I definitely recommend you to enjoy beautiful seasonal flowers and Wagashi in a relaxed mood of the garden.
