Meeting Point
Yaletown Ferry Dock
- I customize this tour for your interests and recommend taking this tour at the beginning of your time in Vancouver. I suggest we pick three areas to explore, and happy to customize to your interests. The most popular stops are Yaletown, Olympic Village and Granville Island. The following is a popular itinerary, and I always customize for each tour.
Meet at Yaletown Roundhouse
We will meet at Yaletown Roundhouse, home to Engine 374, and walk 5 minutes to the Passenger Ferry Dock.
Yaletown is a trendy and upscale neighbourhood known for its converted heritage warehouses, stylish boutiques, and buzzing restaurants. This vibrant district offers a perfect blend of historic charm and modern sophistication, attracting locals and visitors alike.
We will take a short 5 minute walk to the Ferry Dock and head to the next stop : Olympic Village!
Olympic Village
Plan on 30-45 minutes here for a walk around this industrial area turned modern condo 'hood.
Olympic Village is a waterfront community known for its modern, sustainable design and vibrant atmosphere. Originally built for the 2010 Winter Olympics, it now features shops, restaurants, parks, and stunning views of False Creek.
Fancy a coffee or a gelato? I know the best places recommend...
David Lam Park
Our next stop is a beautiful green space with incredible views. We will check it out, and can hop back on the ferry or walk to the next dock and make our way to Granville Island.
Ferry over to Granville Island
Granville Island has 300 makers working out of independent studios, and producing incredible works from many mediums. We will walk to visit different studios, parks, distilleries, shops, and stalls that are located inside of the Granville Island Public Market, and the expansive surrounding area. I recommend finishing the tour at Granville Island so that you can spend time on your own discovering the magic of this urban oasis of creativity!
Ending Point
Granville Island - I will set you up with options for your lunch, and shopping on your own time after the tour. I will give you suggestions for the rest of your day, including directions for your return to your hotel.
