Prague Castle complex, one of the largest in the world. Come see for yourself why its magnificent panorama remains etched in the memory of everyone who visits Prague. It has been an important symbol of the Czech state for over a millenium. Founded in the 9th century and became the seat of Czech rulers and presidents. The castle complex is made up of historical palaces, offices, churches, fortifications, gardens and picturesque spots, such as the famous Golden Lane.

Prague Castle Square

Together we are going to visit beautiful Castle Square where are located very many important buildings. The second oldest gallery in Europe after the Louvre presents masterpieces of Czech and international fine art in permanent and temporary exhibitions. Its exhibition spaces are located in the following historical buildings: the Salm Palace, the Schwarzenberg Palace, the Sternberg Palace, the Wallenstein Riding School.

Prague Castle, St.Vitus Cathedral

This Gothic cathedral, the spiritual symbol of the Czech state, was founded in 1344 on the site of the original Romanesque rotunda. The construction took nearly 600 years and was finally completed in 1929. Its impressive interior is home to such wonders as the beautifully decorated St Wenceslas Chapel with the tomb of St Wenceslas, the crypt where Czech kings are buried, and the Crown Chamber, where the Crown Jewels are kept.

Tour Important Information

Start time is flexible. We can also start later but interiors are usually open till 5pm.

Admission to Prague castle interior is 10 EUR per person (it is not included in the tour price).

Firstly we visit the Prague Castle Square with a great statue of founder of former Czechoslovakia T.G.M.

and many beautiful palaces full of art. Then we visit all three courtyards of the Prague Castle including the

Prague castle interiors. If the Prague Castle gardens are open (from 1st of April till 31st of Oct.) we go to

see them too.
