If you ask Czechs what the must-see landmark is when visiting Prague, they will definitely say it is Prague Castle. Dating back to the 9th century, the castle represents some of the most important historical events in Czech history. We will visit St. Vitus Cathedral, dating back to the 14th century, the Royal Palace with its unique Vladislav Hall, St. George’s Basilica from the 10th century, and the famous Golden Lane.

St. Vitus Cathedral - exterior and interior

We will visit the cathedral, dating back to the 14th century, from the inside. We will explore both its Gothic and Neo-Gothic parts, admire the beautiful stained-glass windows and original works of art. You will also see the two-ton silver tomb and the original Gothic chapels, including the Chapel of the Crown Jewels.

The Old Royal Palace - exterior and interior

We will visit the Renaissance part of the palace from the late 15th century, including the Parliament, the throne and the magnificent Vladislav Hall.

St. George's Basilica - exterior and interior

The Romanesque Basilica of St. George is the second-oldest church at Prague Castle, founded around 920.

Golden Lane - exterior and interiors

This picturesque alley, with its small, colourful houses, is steeped in legends and myths that have also attracted numerous writers and artists, including the renowned Franz Kafka.

Prague Castle entrance ticket: General adult ticket – 450 CZK per person (approximately $22). Please contact me, and I will be happy to help you arrange the tickets.

Hotel pick-up: Adds approximately 30 minutes to the tour, depending on the hotel's location.

Public transportation ticket: Approximately $1.50 per person, one way.

Drinks and snacks: Beer – cca $4; snacks – $5–7; coffee – cca $5.

The meeting point is Hradčany Square. Please let me know if you would prefer to be picked up from your hotel (this may add approximately 30 minutes to the tour)
