Meeting Point

DAY 1

Drive from Addis Ababa to Awash National Park through the scenic Rift Valley, passing Adama and Metehara towns. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive in the park where you may spot wildlife such as oryx, gazelles, baboons, warthogs, and a variety of bird species. Visit the beautiful Awash Waterfall and admire the surrounding volcanic landscape. In the afternoon, continue to Doho Lodge near the Afar region. After check-in, relax in the natural hot spring pools while enjoying the peaceful lowland scenery.

DAY 2

After breakfast, visit a nearby Afar village to learn about the unique culture and traditional lifestyle of the Afar people. Experience their traditional houses, livestock practices, and daily activities while interacting with local community members. Return to Doho Lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy swimming in the hot springs or take a nature walk around the lodge.

DAY 3

After breakfast, enjoy a short morning walk or wildlife viewing around the Awash area. Later, begin the drive back to Addis Ababa with scenic stops along the way. Arrive in Addis Ababa in the afternoon and end of the tour.
