DAY - 1
07:50 - 13:00 - Depart from Addis Ababa to Bonga via Weliso, which is home to the Gurage tribe, known as “the hardest working people in Ethiopia

15:17:30 - On the way you will pass through beautiful landscapes as you drive through the Gibe River Valley. Overnight in Bonga at Kafa.

DAY - 2
08:00 - 09:00 - Breakfast.
09:00 - 16:00 - After breakfast, you will meet with your guide and go on a full day about coffee. Hiking or horseback riding, you will get deep into a beautiful forest. As you advance deeper into it, your guide tells you facts and stories about traditional coffee growing. Bonga is one of the very few places that still count wild coffee trees. After a while, you will stand in front of the oldest coffee tree in Kafa, known locally as “Mother Coffee Tree”. Some 20 feet tall and eight inches thick, it is reputed to be the oldest coffee tree in the world. Along the way there are also a church and a mosque that you can visit.

DAY - 3
08:30 - 09:30 - a ½h walk in Boka Village: you will have an opportunity to visit a traditional Kafa house and learn about the culture of the Kafa people. Additionally you may have the chance to take a short walk in a beautiful bamboo forest.
10:00 - 12:00 - - Take 2h walk through the forest and learn about the region’s diverse flora and fauna. Colobus monkeys, the most famous inhabitants of the forest, swing elegantly from tree to tree, showing off their acrobatic prowess.
12:30 - 13:00 - Lunch
14:00 - 17:00 - bird watching and to Dadiban Hot Springs. The wetland is a habitat for more than 90 bird species. To reach the hot springs you will descent by foot or on a horseback to one of Kafa’s holiest places
18:00 - 19:30 - dinner
Addis Ababa
DAY - 4
08:00 - 08:30 - Breakfast
09:00 - 17:00 - return to Addis Ababa. On the way, time permitting, you may stop in Jimma for a short visit.
18:00 - 19:00 arrive in Addis Ababa and end of the tour.

Blue Nile gorge, Jemma valley and Portuguese bridge are absolutely amazing places of fantastic beauty. If you are in Ethiopia for only one day it is for sure the must-visit place.
