Cannes is the city of cinema, jet-set and where the rich and famous come to enjoy the Mediterranean sun. It attracts tourists from all over the world, largely due to the annual Cannes Film Festival. But there is a hidden ancient side to the city. Cannes was founded in the 2nd Century BC by the Ligurian as a fishing village and port. It was also part of the Roman empire, with its outpost on the hill, and faced many wars and invasions during the medieval ages, while being controlled by the monks of the Lérins islands until the 16th century. With the 19th century comes also the European aristocracy to Cannes, when the city gains the touristic reputation that is kept until today.
Nice
Nice is the beautiful capital of the Côte d'Azur. It is a place of unique beauty where art, elegance and nature combine in a sublime way that floods the senses. At the heart of the city is Vieux Nice, a picturesque old town full of narrow streets and brightly painted houses that brighten up the surroundings.
Monaco
While in Monaco, you will enjoy walking across the streets of the old town, to see the Prince’s Palace, the Courthouse and Cathedral, as well as a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea.
Cannes
The tour will finish in Cannes, after having spent a beautiful day together
