The tour will cover old and historic parts of Tbilisi. We'll visit the 13th century Metekhi church, which provides amazing views of Narikala fortress, crossing over Mtkvari river we'll discover ourselves in the oldest part of Tbilisi, where we'll see old bath houses, Legvtakhevi ravine and waterfall, only mosque in Tbilisi, Meidan square, narrow streets of old times, cross over the Peace bridge to visit Narikala fortress and Mother of Kartli and look over all of Tbilisi.

Meeting Point
Liberty (Freedom) Square in Tbilisi
- We'll meet In front of The Assembly building and continue towards Old Tbilisi. Between the Gryphon Statues (Please look up the meeting point picture in the gallery).
Baratashvili ST.
Going from Freedom square we'll enter the old Tbilisi. First we'll see Berikaoba and "Meezove" Statue going towards Gabriadze theatre
Gabriadze theatre and clock tower
This is the first puppet theatre in Tbilisi, built in 1981 by Rezo Gabriadze. The tower was created in 2010 by him and became the face of old Tbilisi.
Anchiskhati Basilica
The oldest church in Tbilisi. Dates back to 6th century.
Peace bridge
This is 2010 glass bridge. It has become one of the symbols of Tbilisi and connects old and new Tbilisi. It's like going through time when you cross it from old part to new part.
Narikala fortress and Mother of Kartli
By cable car we'll visit Narikala fortress overlooking all of Tbilisi. Narikala means
"little fortress". The first mention of this name is from 4th century, some archeologists and historians believe that the fortress may have existed even earlier than that. Current fortress walls are from different time periods, starting from 4th century, however the most parts are from16th-17th century.
Mother of Kartli statue was created by Elguja Amashukeli. It was erected in 1958, the year Tbilisi celebrated its 1500th anniversary. The statue represents Georgian spirit and history. It overlooks city of Tbilisi like mother looking over her children.
Metekhi church
13th century church, which offers beautiful views over old tbilisi. (According to traditional accounts the first church here was built in 5th century)Here is the statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, who was a 5th century king and according to the legend, he was the one who decided to change capital from Mtsketa to Tbilisi.
Abanotubani
The oldest hot spring district, where natural hot sulfuric water comes out of the ground and you have an opportunity to see numerous old bath houses.
Legvtakhevi waterfall
Legvtakhevi means fig ravine, as there were many fig gardens on top of the cliffs. Here, you'll get to admire centuries old wooden balcony houses, which are tippical for old Tbilisi and represents its history.

Meidan Bazaar
This was the most vibrant and busy place during silk rode period, as merchants would come here to sell or buy their merchandise, stay for a while and continue their way towards the East.
Ending Point
Around 4 PM. we'll finish the tour at Meidan square.
