I have been a tour guide in Georgia since 2011 (also a guide-driver, pivate car - Honda CRV Touring 2017), member of SAGA ( Georgian Association of Guides), a Trainer of Guides and a member of WFTGA ( World Federation of Tourist Guides Association ). I am an Engineer by education (Electrical Communication, Bachelor's degree, Technical University of Georgia). I worked in my profession for only a few years, because I had to move to USA for different reasons, where I've lived for a total of 14 years (mostly in New York ). Living in America and working actively in various social strata has given me a lot of experience, one of which was tourism. Living abroad has further strengthened my interest and love for my homeland. So, when I returned to Georgia, I soon learned all the details of incoming tourism. I have taken courses at several schools in this field and I have excellent graduation certificates together with following skills: Group Management; Psychological bases; Deep Knowledge of Country History; Culture; Architecture; Culinary and Gastronomy; Wine; Traditions and etc. In addition, I have a very interesting hobby - music, I sing, I play the piano and the guitar, I often combine it with the guide service at the right time, which gives more fun and joy to the guest. I live in Tbilisi, I don't have my own family, but I have one great strong family - Georgia. “Maia is the most professional and carrying guide you can get!”
Even before we arrived, Maia made sure we liked her suggested tours and adjusted the itinerary accordingly - which was changed right at the beginning because of our delayed arrival. Instead of arriving at 9pm, we arrived at 2:30 am and were welcomed by Maia at the airport, despite the arrival time. Maia is extremely knowledgeable about Georgia’s history as well as today’s Georgians’s life. Being an elderly couple and me having difficulties walking, Maia went out of her way to make everything possible for us. She is an excellent and careful driver and knew where to take us for good Georgian food. We spent extraordinary 8 days guided by Maia, who made us fall in love with this amazing country. We indeed highly recommend her.

“Perfect mix of history and culture ”

“An Amazing Guide”
I just finished a six day Georgian adventure with Levan and it was everything I'd hoped for. He is a passionate Georgian who has a great knowledge of his wonderful country's history and culture. He's also very interested to learn about his guests and theirbackgrounds and the travelling time passes very quickly. We visited snowcapped mountains, monasteries,forts,churches, vineyards, stately homes, Soviet monuments and cave cities. He was punctual and always had good restaurant advice on where to get genuine Georgian food. My trip was complicated by unknowingly being timed around Independence Day which led to a 2km traffic free cordon around Freedom Square and my hotel. This made picking me up and dropping me off very complicated and usually involved him finding the closest possible park and running to my hotel and leading me back to his car. Speaking of the car....Georgian traffic is idiosyncratic (to put it mildly) but I always felt safe. I really recommend Georgia and Levan but go soon as the tourist explosion is about to happen.
