Meeting Point
Batthyány tér (square), Buda side
- In front of the white Church
Batthyány tér (square)
We start our walk at this baroque square of Buda. This location is a mosaic of a busy transfer point of bus/subway travelers, hundreds years old monastery buildings and a clumsy managed but somehow beautiful park in the background. A really good zero point to set our sail for a more adequate scene.
Szilágyi Dezső tér (square), Corvin tér (square)
This neo-gothic church and the little park with roman age reminiscents should propose an inner balance of our day.
Iskola utca - Markovics István utca
A nice walk would lead us to a corner of local cafés and restaurants. We may serve our basic needs of having food and drink here. But no push here, we may leave the corner stepping into the details of surrounding routes.
Turkish Bath and other builings
The medieval bath built by the Ottoman Empire. After 400 years the building suffers its first overall renovation. We can't go inside but the building is a unique spot with its Turkish oriental style.
Other interesting buildings are going to be tailored into our walk. I don't pin all of them in this virtual mind map of the tour. Depends on your interests and energy. We may alter the course of our walk. Just keeping you comfortable in your needs.
Local gardens
A tiny rose garden awaits for us with an outstanding view of the city. A spot not known by tourist. We touch another local garden after that with shadowy trees around and reminiscences of an old bath building.
Ending Point
Bem tér (square), Buda side

Enigmatic Spots of Cold War & Communist History
May I invite you to the unique sites of the Cold War and communist era of Eastern Europe? You gain experience of freaky communist monuments. Switching towards the enigmatic mountains of Buda. The local railway system controlled by children is a still living part of the communist heritage. Alongside we perform a nice short walk following the path of the forest with food and drink pavilions. These spots are out of town and are not stressed by over-tourism. We travel by my minibus.
