In this spot, you will enter the Jakarta History Museum, where it is explained that Jakarta was officially named 'Jayakarta' on June 22, 1527, after Fatahillah, a king or sultan of the Cirebon Sultanate succeeded in expelling the Portuguese from 'Sunda Kelapa'. At that time, Fatahillah, as a commander of the Demak Sultanate', changed the name 'Sunda Kelapa' to 'Jayakarta'.
