The museum houses an impressive collection of no less 109,342 than objects covering Indonesia's Prehistory, archaeology, Ethnography, Numismatics-Heraldic, Geography and Historical Relics. At the moment, this Museum is closed for renovation. Do not worry, we will replace it to National Monument/ The Biggest Mosque Istiqlal opposite with Katedral Church or exploring the Flea Market.
You might also hear Chinatown being called Glodok by locals in Jakarta and you might hear the two terms being used interchangeably within the city. It is such as Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Expect the tiny roads throughout Chinatown get really busy in the morning hours when fresh fish and meat are bieng sold by the local merchants. You can also check out some historic places of worship as well. The famous temple was built in 16 century.
Fatahilla Square is historical center of the old Batavia. The square is located at the center of Jakarta Old town. Today the square is a tourist area home to the Jakarta History Museum, Puppet Museum and Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum. From the beginning of its foundation, Batavia was a well planned Dutch forth city. The square that would become Fatahilla was first recorded in 1627.
Sunda Kalapa is the old port of Jakarta. Today the old port only accommodate Pinisi, a traditional two masted wooden sailing ship serving inter-island freight service in the archipelago. Sunda Kalapa harbor is pplayed a significant role in the city's development. The port is currectly operated by the state-owned Indonesia Port Corporations. I enjoyed the experience so much, Dwe gave details explanation about local life. Unfortunately the tour started bit late by device problem. If it had started on time, I would have given five stars.

“Proactive, attentive, informative”
Dwi was very proactive, reaching out to us, confirming details, advising of COVID ticket restrictions and reserving tickets for us to ensure we had a very smooth visit. He was very flexible with our timing and where we wanted to go, we didn’t want to rush so kept it to the two temples. We took our luggage and where dropped at the train station saving travel time. Note there is a lot of driving to and between temples and traffic is very congested, the quality of the car will impact your enjoyment, you want to be comfortable.
