Tel Ashkelon National Park from Ashdod
We will explore the ancient city of Ashkelon. The national park includes a great picnic area and a private beach. There are many great sites to see from many different time periods. The most impressive finds are from the Canaanite period and the Roman period.

We will take the train and then a bus to get to Tel Ashkelon. If you need help arriving to the train station from your hotel or cruise ship please let me know so I can help make arrangements.
Tel Ashkelon
We will explore the Canaanite Gate, Mediaeval walls, the Roman basilica and more.
Picnic Lunch
We will stop to have a picnic lunch in the national park
Private Beach
The national park has a private beach and it is a great way to cool off and have fun after walking around in the heat.
We will leave the park to make our way back to Ashdod
We will take the bus to the train for the return trip.
The Ashdod Train station

It can get very hot so please bring hats, water sunscreen, a picnic lunch and your swim wear.
