Hi, I am Jonathan. I was born in NYC and grew up in South Africa. I have been a guide for 12 years in Israel. My job in the Israeli army was to be a tour guide for VIP’s. I toured actors and politicians all over Israel. I am very passionate about sharing this amazing culture and history with people, and I enjoy seeing them having a great time.

Ron L.
Ron is an experienced Israeli tour guide, however it is worth noting that he did not start out as a guide. A native Israel, Ron was born and raised in Tel Aviv. After completing his army service with the IDF Spokesman’s office, Ron pursued a degree in Economics from Tel Aviv University. After 2 years in Sydney, Australia, he returned to Israel and worked as an economist and journalist for economic dailies. After 14 years in this field, Ron decided to change direction and pursue his passion of sharing Israel with visitors from abroad. He completed the Israeli tour guide course and since then has worked full time as a licensed Israeli Tour Guide, specializing with small, specialized groups. Ronen primarily guides individuals and families, both Jewish and Christian, conveying his love of Israel and his wealth of knowledge about the land and its people. Ron’s many interests include history, politics, nature, culture and religion. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys good food and wine. Ron is conversant in both English and French. Ron L. welcomes the opportunity to explore Israel with you.

About myself – Sharona L. My parents made Aliya= emigrated from Philadelphia to Israel in 1963. So I was born in 1970 and raised here as a "sabra" – that’s what native Israelis call themselves. I grew up hearing both English and Hebrew in my home. My family – parents, 3 siblings and myself – always liked travelling and nature. Camping and hiking are a good part of my best childhood memories. As a teenager I joined a youth hiking club which was based in the Judean Desert. The club belonged to the SPNI – Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel. During our hikes we also learned about the geology, biology and history of the places we visited. I knew already back then, that this is what I wanted to do with my life – hike in nature and visit interesting sites and places. After graduating high school I did my mandatory service in the Israel Defense Forces. I was a gardener, and fiercely fought against all weeds in the army bases I served in… When released from service, I went to study "Land of Israel Studies" at the Beit-Berl Teachers College. I received a B.Ed in geography and my official Tour Guide certification from the Ministry of Tourism in 1995. I have been a tour guide ever since. I love my job, and I love my country. I named both my sons after mountains in Israel – Tavor (20), and Bental (17).

After a long successful career in the Telecom business, I've decided to dedicate myself to helping people to understand my country, Israel, better and to fall in love with it. This is how I became a tour guide. After 2.5 years of studies, in 2012, I started guiding tourists from all over the World. My specialization is in the History of the Bible Land, the religions, and the people of our fascinating country. I do private in-depth tours only for couples and families who come to Israel to learn and enjoy.
