The castle ground is now under repair and the castle has been moved some 70 meters away from the original position because of the construction. It will be moved back to the original place in 5 years and the repair work will finish in 10 years. It was about 100 years ago last time the castle was moved because of the repair work. “Best Guide and Tour by Far”
We were a party of 10 on a cruise and our last port was Aomori. Felt very lucky and fortunate to have found Ishi-san (Masaharu) and to have him guide us for 8 hrs. He set up the perfect itinerary and was very responsive to all my emails. Especially liked that he was always making sure we were keeping up with him and was very attentive to all of us. He is also very knowledgeable, personable and speaks very good English. Thanks to Ishi-san, Aomori was the grand finale to our cruise and we can't thank him enough for such a memorable time. Hope to see him on one of our other visits to Aomori.
