Hirosaki City - The Original Castle Keep
Hirosaki has many attractions, such as the thousands of ancient cherry trees, surrounding the castle and is Japan’s biggest apple producer. There are about 50 apple-pie restaurants. Hirosaki grew up around its castle, protected by Shinto Shrines to the north and Buddhism temples to the south-west. Come with me and I'll share my extensive knowledge about the city and make this a memorable experience!

Kuroishi - The Black and White Stoned City
Kuroishi is surrounded by rich nature. As you walk around the city, you can experience the Edo Samurai era and feel like you have traveled 400 years in the past. Much of the architecture has remained the same since decades ago. The city offers some of the best sake in all of Japan. Aomori - Mountainous Seaside City
Aomori city is the capital city of the Aomori prefecture with 280,000 population, connecting Tokyo and Aomori by the Shinkansen, or bullet train in 3 hours or 1 hour flight. The city a major trading hub so you can eat the freshest produce, learn about the ancient Jomon people and their rope-patterned pottery, and visit the UNESCO designated word heritage site! Let me show you my beloved hometown!
Visit the fascinating Sannai Maruyama
Discover the fascinating culture of the Jomon people who lived in Japan during the Neolithic (stone age) period. At this important site, we will walk through a reconstructed village to learn about daily life. Later, we'll go through the museum to see original artifacts found at Sannai Maruyama. I'm looking forward to showing you around one of my favourite places!

“ Best use of our time in Aomiri ”
We had a wonderful day in Aomori today with our pre arranged taxi. The weather was awful, freezing cold and wet but that didn’t spoil our enjoyment. We visited Hirosaki Castle, Jogakura Bridge and Seiryuji Temple/Great Buddha. The snow was coming down when we were on our way to the bridge but that was no problem for our driver and the views with the snow were wonderful. We particularly enjoyed the Seiryuji Temple - well worth a visit. Our driver was extremely courteous and friendly and the car spotless. All in all an excellent day!

“ Not lost in translation! A wonderful trip to Orinase Stream & Lake Towada ”
My wife and I visited Aomori by cruise shop and hired TR Taxi through GoWithGuide for a shore excursion we very much wanted to do hike along Orinase Stream and see Lake Towada. The location was over an hour from the dock. Mr Jin, our driver, picked us up promptly at 7:30am. The cab was spotlessly clean and in excellent repair. Mr Jin spoke no English, but we were able to communicate well using Google Translate. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to show us all the best sites. Despite very changeable weather, he succeeded at giving us a great experience and delivering us back to the ship on time. Our highest recommendation for taking the time to see these extraordinary sites with TR Taxi and Mr Jin.

“ It was an unforgettable trip! ”
Mr Tsushima was such a great driver. Our tour in Aomori across the different Sakura spots was truly unforgettable. We took lots of great photos and he even recommended some great phot spots. He was challenged with English but he really tried his best to communicate with us. I will book again with GowithGuide!

“ Excellent tour and driver for the tour ”
The driver had a sign with my name on the dash board and there was no problem finding him. While Mr. Jin does not speak English, he used Google translate. He either had pre-recorded message or on the spot voice messages. We had no problem with communication. We used Google translate to ask him questions. He is not just a driver, he took us to all our predetermined sightseeing spots and would act as a guide to explain things to us and we got a lot of information from him. In Hirosaki Park , since not everywhere has cherry blossom, he would take us to areas that we would not have done so ourselves. One of the members lost the sunglasses, he would go with her to the last spot to look for it. Excellent driver/guide and services. I would highly recommend him.
