“Dan is AMAZING with kids!!! ”
Dan picked us up from the station with a big smile and 2 bags of Japanese candies and chocolates for my daughters. The labels were all written in Japanese so he explained the different types of flavours. Then he gave my daughters a challenge to keep them busy while he explained about the history of Mt Takao to me. My daughters warmed to him immediately and I felt relief that I had someone to look after my daughters and I could also enjoy the temples of Mt Takao myself. He explained that Mt Takao is a hidden gem and that he is just starting as a tour guide. But it felt like he has been doing this for years. He was just so warm and friendly and knowledgeable about Mt Takao. I highly recommend Dan if you travel to Mt Takao. My only complaint is that we wanted to try the hot springs. Unfortunately, as I have a small tattoo, I would have been denied entry. I feel that policy should be looked at and changed.

“Meeting Dan was one of the best parts of our Tokyo trip ”
Dan Conner deserves seven stars and more for the incredible experience he provided during our Japan vacation. From the get-go, his communication was exceptional, ensuring every detail was perfectly organized. He wasn't just a guide; he became a friend to my kids, showering them with delightful gift bags and goodies, making them feel cherished throughout our adventure. Dan's expertise shone as he guided us through Tokyo, teaching us how to navigate the subway system and sharing invaluable tips for independent exploration. Our day trip with Dan was a highlight, from visiting the famous Shiba Inu cafe to exploring local parks, every moment was filled with joy and excitement. Dan even customized our lunch to our preferences and went the extra mile to craft a detailed plan for our trip. What's truly remarkable is that Dan managed all of this while his wedding was the next day. Despite his personal commitments, he remained dedicated, constantly communicating with us to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. On our last day, he surprised us with personalized gifts, a touching gesture that reflected his genuine care and thoughtfulness. Dan's humility, excellent Japanese skills, and friendly demeanor were the cherry on top of an already amazing experience. Hiring him for just one day felt like having a dedicated guide for the entire week, thanks to his constant availability and unwavering support. In summary, Dan Conner's exceptional service, dedication, and kindness made our Japan vacation truly unforgettable. If you're seeking a guide who goes above and beyond, look no further than Dan. He's not just a guide; he's a true gem who embodies the essence of hospitality and warmth.
